eBay guides sometimes are tricky, especially if you factor that in the same guide someone has put "quality" and "XXXFire" together and that many "high reputable vendors", those with plus-hundred thousand votes, sells mostly XXXFire batteries.....

I've just read the eBay's guide in its entirety and I'm confused, because tells us a lot without telling many relevant bits, which are, for sure, in batteryuniversity.com

I popped my EVOD clearo with a 2.5 ohm coil on my iStick at 3.0 volts setting, and it vaped like my other regulated mods do when set to > 4.2 volts (burnt).

Now, for other setups that work at higher wattages, it may be a non-issue. My Genitank (1.8 ohm, dual) at 10 watts indicated on the istick works well with three of the air holes uncovered. Close just one more air hole, and the slightest "overcooked" flavor comes through. This is using MBV 50/50 Coumarin Pipe eliquid (18 mg/ml). I haven't put the Genitank on my other mods to see what power gives a similar vape. I expect it will be far greater than 10 watts....

To my Untrained eye. The Wave Form of these Two look Similar. And have the same Hertz also.

And they are, indeed. I've toyed with the two images with GIMP, and the alfa-transparencies.....


The relevant info is the area underneath the graphs, and their are quite similar, both in form, and position, regardless the little difference in frequency.... This paints a bright future... unless a serious statistical analysis probes otherwise....

It could be that, regardless a V_ave shown in screen, at least in VV mode, the internals do the correct math in VW mode, with a V_rms. I'm daydreaming, just wishing the best outcome.....

Madvapes circuitboard spacer? Sorry I havent been keeping up with the thread too much. Can you elaborate? I didnt buy mine from madvapes. Bought it from heavengifts. My problem was the first day I bought it, when I screwed on my spheroid..it wouldnt fire, so I figured I had to unscrew the adjustable centerpin a little on my spheroid a bit...I did just that...and it worked flawlessly. Today when I unscrewed my atomizer to fill it, I screwed it back on..and it said atomizer short. Weird, so I unscrewed i, screw it back on...and it would only fire when it was barely screwed into the Eleaf...almost wobbly.

Interestingly enough, my Spheroid did about the same thing on my Istick, worked fine on everything else, Mechs, RDNA, Cloupor, SX-350, and a few others. Had me scratching my head for a while, not saying this was your issue, but it certainly was mine.

I built a new coil, about the same resistance, 1.2 ohms, tried again, same results, worked perfectly on everything but the Istick. disassembled the deck, which appeared to be a bit oxidized, and almost appeared to have some slight arcing going on, polished the centerpin disk with a bit of 2000 grit, cleaned up the positive pin screw head and it was fine.

Spheroid positive connection disk is mounted in some sort of silicon insulator, and all my other devices push enough pressure on the center pin to make a positive connection. Where Istick 510 for whatever reason does not push the center pin quite as much and the combo of pin pressure, and oxidation was enough to cause the issue. Though I don't know if my V2 uses same internal setup as the V3 deck I'm assuming it is similar.

My Nautilus Mini arrived! I filled it put it on the Istick and let it soak for 10 minutes.

Aerotank and Protank II mini arrived today. I don't like the feel of the Aerotank. Seems chintzy after the Mega. Protank needs the adapter and seems to taste burnt on any setting - and on the EVOD batteries too. Glad I dug through my box and saw I already had one. Didn't open the new one - just popped a new coil into the one I already had.

Going to give the new one away. Got some folk at work that I got started vaping a week or so ago. Now I just have to order another Aero Mega when I can.

I think PBusardo (video review), as well as I prefer the mini in taste and vapor. I hear ya on refilling but I like the size and performance so much as of today I have 4. Makes it nice to have several dedicated tanks for my favorite flavors. Except tonight nothing tastes right[emoji20]. Vapors tongue I'm assuming.

That is good news. Theirs come with a 6 month warranty as well. Still the complete kit is less $ at Avid. I got mine at EleafUS the first day that they were released. It does come with Ego adapter but no charging cable.

Hopefully this means that other vendors will have them in stock soon too. China goes on holiday from Oct 1-7.
