I was thinking...... (The world starts to tremble....)..
What if we force some free space inside the 510? (The world is really trembling....)
What if I put a washer, of the suitable thickness, between the istick and the smok AFC adaptor...? (Now, the istick joins the trembling....)
What it that washer adds some hook for a suitable lanyard? (Well, this is official, this is Scary Movie 69!...)
And if I use my unused, almost forgotten, Fat Daddy Vapes 510 closing and grounding washer? (Did I tell you this was a terror movie? It's naked brass, scaredmice!...)

Darnit, my iStick is starting to have center pin issues
I switched out the 510/ego ego adapter on it, and it worked pretty well for a few days, but after a while, it gets pushed down too far and has to be adjusted with a screwdriver again.
Luckily, my trusty old ego twist has an adjustible 510, and will fire everrrything, so it doesn't leave me in a bind. That's why I carry both on me at all times.
It hasn't gotten terrible yet, but has anyone actually tried the Danco O-ring fix on the iStick yet? I hate to do it, but it may come to that point in the future.
I'm starting to have issues also. Anyone come up with a fix that works? I know I can add an adaptor, but really don't want to...TIA..

In some ways, I agree, Katyayaya. But in others, new vapers have it made in the shade with devices like the 'Stick or the iTazte V3, toppered with a Naughty and Aspire coils.
I know you still have a bit of trepidation about those coils, but I truly believe once wetted, whatever that filler material is will stay right where it is and not dislodge. For me, they are THAT good that I will continue to buy and use them. And....... they made vaping a whole lot easier. I could NEVER fully comprehend the myriad of all the Kanger gear.

No it wasn't easy. Oh, the silly and forever fiddling that went on! Thats why I never wanted to use those PITA mods and just dripped. Hardware selections where much more straight forward, cause it was SO limited, it was simple. That was in exchange of satisfaction and consistency that it.
I've been wondering why a 3ml bottle used to last me all day. I put an atty with a 510 cart on my istick! Fiddling! We filled more than we vaped!
Public Service Announcement:
After repeated frustration with the center pin on the istick, I went ahead and performed the Danco #60 O-Ring fix that has been famously done on the Innokin MVP.
This O-ring can be found at Lowes and Home Depot in the kitchen hardware section. It was harder to do it on the istick than the MVP for 2 reasons. It's a tighter space on the istick, so you really have to work the pin out slowly. I was afraid I was stripping the threads as I was doing it, but it turned out fine. Second, the center pin doesn't come all the way out, so I had to use tweezers to stretch and get the O-Ring on.
When I fixed the MVP, the extra thick O-ring didn't allow for the tanks to be tightened down all the way. I just tightened the ego/510 adapter all the way down without too much trouble and put my Protank and Kayfun on it, which worked fine, and the OHM meter appears to still be accurate.
If you're a person that is constantly switching tanks throughout the day, this may be a solution for you. Here's a video on youtube of someone doing it on the MVP.

For anyone thats changed out the oring on their stick, Does the pin in the iStick lift out as far as the MVP does? Can I pull it up that far or do I have to fiddle with it while its still sitting inside?

The pin in my MVP came all the way out. It wasn't connected to anything. So all I did was pull it out, put the o-ring on, then center and put it back in. That is NOT the case with the istick. The istick center pin is connected to some wiring and doesn't come all the way out. That's why I stated you have to use tweezers and work it on slowly. It takes a little bit of work, but it'll eventually come on.
its the 19mm halfling and it really doesn't hold that much liquid, not sure on the exact amount. i don't constantly vape, so i get through about 2 days before i need to refill it.
Anyone noticing that the istick seems to be fairly overpowered?
I have to keep it on 3v for a 2ohm cart, otherwise it will start to burn. i've noticed that if i throw the same setup on a VV ego twist at 3.2v, it doesn't make nearly as much noise or vapor cloud
