Okay folks, I need a bit of advice. I've been browsing this thread since it's inception, and also searched for specifics but I'm coming up short of making a decision to buy an istick.
I vape DIY 70% to 80% VG in a boge 2.0 ohm carto on either a joye twist at 4.2 v or MVP at 6.5 to 7 watts.
My questions are:
1. Is the istick still as wonderful as everyone thought? The first posts were all saying how wonderful they are and more recently I was reading posts about needing adapters and bending things and taking them apart and... I don't want to get one if I have to modify it to get it to work correctly.
2. Will my current setup of boge LR's and high VG juice be a problem?
3. Regular or mini?
4. Any opinions on the most reliable place to order one?
Thanks in advance.
1. It depends on what's important to you. I like it because it has great battery life and is super compact. It has its flaws, as any device does. The threads can apparently give you problems. But use the adapter that comes with it, and you should be fine. It runs hotter than other devices, but you can dial it back. I find my 2.0 ohms cartos do best around 5.5 watts or so.
2. LR cartos should be fine, but you'll have to set the device lower than you're used to. Assuming they're single coil. Dual coil you can probably turn it up a little more. Just start out low and turn it up until it tastes right. If it tastes burned, dial it back a bit.
VG won't have am impact - that has more to do with what you have the juice in than the battery.
3. Again, depends on what is important to you. It's smaller, but you sacrifice battery life. Mini is also just VV, not VW.
4. VapeNW seems to be mentioned here a lot.
