Forgive my scepticism.....
Do you remember
this?
I'm even surprised about its existence, yet...... that video remains on Youtube as permanent monument to something.......
If any eLeaf, iSmoka, Joyetech representative, or their associated vendors, says so, well, I won't believe it until I personally can check it or a reliable source confirms it, without hesitation or doubts......
Because I've read reports about the 30W being also mean calculated for their power output, or that compared with normal VW the 30W also goes warm (at the proper resistances, those which force the mod to go down in voltage), and also reports of being normal (i.e., appears to be RMS or even a pure DC output).
The 'official' statement read before about the 'combination' of RMS and DC output is, to say the least, difficult to understand from the technical point of view. It is PWM or DC, and only in the first case the voltage can be RMS, mean, convoluted or curly...... your choice (well, eLeaf's, actually). If it is DC, no RMS/mean/shape-whatever-you-like-dude applies, because it is a plain, boring continuum output, i.e., constant. Can't be both, except if the mod combines (actually, in truth) both modes depending of the voltage output.....
Let's say, below battery voltage it is PWM, but over it it is DC...... But nobody has published even the slimmest oscilloscope trace, everybody is comparing (qualitatively) outputs with normal VW mods, and taking for granted the 'official statement'.......
like this one?
Most daringly, some have reported the same output from a DNA30 and the iStick 30 W...... near the 30 W setting. That's useless, dudes, it is in the low range of power where the 20W iStick sucks...... and where we all need to know what exactly do the newcomers........
I'm afraid I've got up in my grumpy form....let's metamorphose........
