Glad it helped Apathy...keep us posted! It can be done mid-tank too, if it stops flowing well open briefly, cover drip tip, close... I can't take the credit, a friend here showed me that trick. Lol. Oh and speaking of tricks, hey ErnieKim your tricks did work on the Subtank Mini months ago... I replaced my mini rba deck with the then-new one that had juice channels all the way down, filed out the holes on the chimney a bit bigger, and voila... Idr if I ever said thanks, but trust me it's appreciated! That's still my backup tank. You're awesome :)

I use an old plugged up drip tip for the same effect
That way my finger doesnt slip off the end of the tip

How do you guys get it to leave a air pocket? I did my first refill without it leaking through the airflow control today..don't know how ..been closing the airflow control, filling it horizontally and finger covering the drip tip all the time

Just don't fill it all the way - you want to see a bubble!

I just got 4mm long cheesehead screws for my Lemo 2 but they were a bit too long for positive, pushed the insulator.
Measured under the head. Ordered 3mm long and I think they fit better.
I ordered both 3mm and 4mm from Amazon, I have received them but have not tried any of them yet maybe tomorrow. I am understanding that the 3mm is the proper size? Guess I can return the 4mm if not needed, my junk box is already pretty full.

So I am using a 24ga coil, wrapped around a 3mm mandrel, .7ohm, Japanese cotton...but i just refilled the tank this morning, so no pics until tonight possibly. I've also tried pancake wicking in the Lemo 2 and it worked better than I imagined it would as there is quite a separation between the bottom of the wick and the juice channel. But the reason I went back to a "normal" wicking method is that pancake wicking is ideally used when you are at a consistent PG/VG ratio, and right now with the juices I am using, the ratio is unknown for some of the juices and varies quite a bit.

As far as filling goes, I am using a syringe with a 14ga needle and it is a fast and error free way to fill. No leaking with the AFC closed at all. I don't even have to wipe up drips.

Now, when I got the Lemo 2 a couple of weeks ago, I had put it on a mod for a pic and then get distracted. Before I knew it was was picking up my mod to take a hit...forgetting that the brand new Lemo 2 had no juice in it...but it was built and wicked from the factory...worst dry hit ever. After the tears cleared, I took the tank part and snapped a pic...enjoy my pain.

I love mine and use it every day for thick juice in TC mode for about a month now. Up until a few days ago I had not leaked a drop. Recently I had a couple of tank emptying after doing a top refill and laying it down. Looked away for a few mins and when I grabbed the device I had a handful and an almost empty tank. I think for some reason the glass was not tight enough even though I had used it all day and not changed anything. I tightened it up and refilled and all was ok.

Yesterday I had another tank empty on me after refill and putting it down. After reaching for it and getting a handful again, I realized that I had not closed the fill hole. lol  Sometimes technology lets us down and sometimes it is forgetfulness. But I do love this tank and not bad for the price either.

I had my first very minor leak but it was because I ran out of juice and after flopping around loosely in my pocket for an hour or so...it produced some of the small amount juice.
But I show do love my Lucile...she's the best vape ever!!!
