Here's what I've figured out after multiple builds on the Lemo 2. It likes large diameter coils and lots of wick. It will pull juice. I pre-ordered this cause I have 2 original lemos. This was tricky to get it wicking right. The vacuum trick helps, but this was the icing on the cake for me.

Can't get that open been stuck closed since first week I got it nothing has worked getting it open I've tried pretty much everything

Oddly enough mine is stuck right now too...and let me just say that even after a quick rinse to get rid of the old juice that the fill port ring is a cast iron B to move...it needs juice around it to lubricate it at all times.

So, I am trying a new build, the .7 24ga was OK, but not...enough. I am trying 22 ga right now, first try was a bit of a failure at .5ohn due to slow ramp up and bad wicking. Second iteration is .4ohm with much better wicking. Ramp up is fast enough and currently vaping it at 55W.

I have a thing for fat wire. Since I haven't made up any 32/28 claptons yet, this will have to do. Good dense vape, warm and good flavor for the Lemo 2. Of course I forgot to snap a pic of the current .4ohm build, but here is the .5 that I took out.

So you like the 22 gage better than the 24.....I think that's where I'm headed as well. I'm at 24 gage and .7 ohms....working ok...but I like what I hear from you on start up being quicker, dense vapor, warm and flavor.
Thanks for the photos!!

Just stay under .5ohms and you should be good to go. I was liking the 24 pretty well at .5-.7, I just like this a whole lot better. It is closer to a dripper as I use them for flavor, not clouds. One drawback is that I will be switching batteries more, as I was only at about 25-30W with the 24ga coils. But that is no biggie. I work at home and have plenty of batteries and a Luc 4 all in easy reach. I use my iStick 50w and Orchid when I go out anyway right now.

Thanks for the response...I have an Istick 50W on the way and will be using it so I should be ok on all fronts....just waiting for it to arrive to build the 22gage!! Can't handle it with what I am using now!!

I put a 28/32 clapton in mine a few weeks ago. Was actually very disappointed with ramp up time...doesn't bother me in the drippers, but idk if it was worse here or just bugged me more. Anyway, I took it out in less than a day because of that one issue alone. If anyone has gotten this to work in the Lemo - actually in any tank - please lemme know how!!

PS thanks for the tip on 22 - gonna have to try that again. I ran out, been using 26 in parallel to keep resistance & area somewhat decent (7 wraps of the doubled 26 - 0.5ohms) got used to it and had kinda forgotten what real vape was like til I saw your post and remembered my 24 days. I never actually put 22 in the Lemo yet. I know where I'm going tomorrow, looks like...lol

I was doing a 26/28 NI200/Kanthal A1 and the ramp up time was a bit higher but I loved the smoothness and quality of the vape. Now I am doing 26/30 NI200/Kanthal A1 and I think I have found my sweet spot with 3mm coil, 6/7 spaced wraps using TC mode. Ramp up time is not so noticeable to me or maybe I am just used to it.

I am loving my lemo 2. I'm using it with 3 28 gauge wires twisted together wrapped 5 or 6 times at .56 ohms and 23.5w. i have not had any leaking issues and no issues with filling. I've filled it with a glass dripper just fine filling from the corner of the filling port. I noticed it will start overflowing at the fill port if there is air bubbles in the dripper. Also very easy to clean compared to my sub tank mini.

kinda had it a little backwards..sorry--nic buzz ;)

Top ring of bottom section you need to grab with pliers or wrench or--if empty grab the upper section of deck with needle nose pliers and twist while holding the slot with screwdriver.
thx worked like a charm opening getting it open finally but the center screw was still tight didn't seem to make a difference with loose peek insulator post oh well

Have I mentioned I truly love this tank? It's actually cured me of my RTA blues...simply because it can keep up with me! I still wanna get my Kayfun fixed up (I stripped juice control threads) for when i want a massive flavor fix, but I'm actually good without it. For the simple reason I CANT BREAK THIS BABY lol it's been dropped it's gotten stuck and been wrenched it's been drowned it's been wicked in the middle of the night while half drunk it's chainvaped every day and it keeps up with me. I love it. Lol

Damn ChiBear...I had one of mine that had the same issue and tightening that shaft is what fixed it.

I'm sorry but I don't know what else to suggest off the top of my head unless maybe disassembly of that center post and a good cleaning and reassembly. It's possible that there's a good layer of juice between the surfaces and it's acting as a lubricant allowing it to slide when you torque down the screws.

I haven't had mine torn down that far but if I was going to do that I'd pay particular attention to any washers etcetera that you may find in the assembly so that you can put things back together properly...but if you are a shooter as your picture implies then you should be able to handle that with no worries as properly maintaining firearms requires the same thing!

Good luck!
