I keep mentioning EM in each of my post but in fact I am using Sacralose (sweetner) and not EM in my mixes. Just thought I should clear that up.
That's not really why I got rid of the EM its because it will clog my HH.357

Exactly, and I think thats what I'm seeing. I do notice when I eat before bed my sugars are lower in the morning. I must admit due to some major stresses at work in the past few weeks my schedual has been way off and I found myself on many occasions working through lunch and then on a few nights I've come home so fustrated from the workday that I would skip dinner or eat way past my normal dinner time. This I'm sure is contributing to the problems I'm having now.
I'm glad I started this thread if for nothing else to get some very good advice and give me some reminders to get myself back on track.
Thank you everyone.
Just do the best you can with your meals each day, and strive to do better tomorrow. As stated above, stressing about it will make it worse.
Throw some trail mix (that you make yourself so you know what's in it) in some little snack size bags in your desk. Keep some in your car.
Try to take a bite of supper. Sometimes you're not hungry until you take a few bites, then realize you really DO want food.
<Hug> "we're pullin for ya"
Think you nailed it there with the stress my friend.
I'm sure thats the case. after sleeping in late at the start of the holiday weekend I awoke to some nice really low numbers. Now time to work on my eating schedual.
you guys are making me want to check more frequently...
I've been around 150-175...I need to do better. I was worried about vaping increasing my blood sugars, but after researching I don't think it is.
Thanks for the motivation to improve

Best of luck.
People that aren't aware of diabetes have know idea what all is involved. They think you just can't eat sweets and all is cool.
The pump changed my life so much. 8-14 injections a day isn't the way to live. Of course you have at least that many finger sticks as well.
I had so many holes in me that when it was time to water the lawn, my wife would give me a big glass of water and have me run around the yard...
Hope you find that vaping has no or very little affect on your glucose levels.

Consider yourself lucky I'm Insulin DependentAs a type 2 just having to take just 2 pills a day and control my diet I consider myself lucky. I feel your pain and the 4 - 5 times a day I need to monitor myself with the usual sticks is nothing compaired to your daily hell and you still keep a sence of humor about you. That I can truly admire. As for me watering the lawn, if I had that many holes in me my wife would hand me the garden hose and tell me where to stick it, hold my arms out and turn slowly while making ticking noises. Do yourself a favor and don't try to picture that. You'll be haunted by that image for the rest of your life![]()

Thank you for your comment and I'm doing research on this and coming up with the same conclusion. Most say it's not nearly as bad as analog's but still bad expecially juices containing EM. I found one site that had comments from a diabetic speciaist that state it's a very good alternitive to actual smoking and does not significantly increase blood sugar even the sweet vapes. But there are a lot of post from diabetics that have noticed an increase in blood sugar and this concerns me just for the fact that mine increased and this was not the case a month ago when I first started vaping. I don't want to give vaping up now that I'm completely off analogs and now must weigh the risks between going back to analogs or staying with vaping. My thoughs right now is that I'm still better off staying with the vape.

Lol...it's all good....
When you grow up with it(dad) it just seems normal.
No use crying about it. It is what it is.
And thanks....try as I might...I have that image permanently etched in my brain...lol.
Somebody who is more techy....and way less lazy than I am should start a BETIC sub forum......just sayin'...
Sometimes it's nice to hang with folks that "get" you....
hmm... I wonder if it has anything to do with dehydration. I'm a diabetic also.
