I like mine a lot. I have been running the one I built for a few weeks with no issues. I do have to juice the wick a bit more often but after you get use to it not an issue at all for me.

Thanks for the tip Mud :)

I think kanthal wire and SS mesh wicks are going to be my regular builds. They vape so nice and when the coils gunk up, I can dry burn them clean easily enough.

LOL I run both the SS wick and the Silica, I can not tell much difference in the flavor or over all production of the ERA. (That could just be me)

I do think that the wick set up will last longer then the Silica wick so it should work for a long term wick.

Like I said I have two weeks on the first set up and its going strong no change from when I first installed it. I am going to keep this set up on the Grand and see just how long I can get out of it before I need to change it out.

Now you guys are gonna make me try SS wick???? I REALLY DON'T WANT TO!!!!

Well, I had these lengths of rolled, oxidized, SS mesh laying about since they were too big in diameter to use with my G-Tank-US, so I said "what the hey?" and wrapped a coil, trimmed the wick to about 1/4", and installed it in my ERA. It vapes great!

Ok, now I've got to try the SS wick as well! Anyone have a pic of their setup? I assume that you need to have one end of the SS wick touching the base??

I've found it gets better as it "breaks in."

Edit: It doesn't have to touch the base. I just give my ERA a healthy squonk and e-liquid pools up underneath it and some of it gets soaked into the SS mesh wick. The rest gets sucked back down to the bottle when I release the pressure.

Since the ERA feeds through the small holes in the center post, I don't see how it could be sucked back into the bottle. I'm going to try it and see how it works. I might try a hybrid setup with silica inside the mesh extending out one side. I would think that the silica wouldn't get gunked up if the coil was only touching the mesh.

Thanks to Mamu's RAT mod and coil build, I am using XS-18 silica sleeve over my mesh for the ERA. I left the sleeve long on either side of the mesh in hopes of it holding excess juice from squonking. Been using for a day and it is working quite nicely. Time will tell.

Any links to that coil method?
