ERA - easy rebuildable atomzier

wth are u guys doing???? follow my tut!!!! i went on that build for a month straight. rewicked a month after havent touched it, performs the same. screws should not be coming lose. coil should def not be touching anything, it should be floating gracefully in front of the two posts.
1 ohm on a reo grand just gag inducing, head spining hits.
ok nice guy back on. please follow tut if you have trouble. it is called the easy repairable atty for a reason, wrap stick in two holes, secure cut excess wire. meter or test fire. vape away. is a video required?

I'm very afraid a video WILL be required when i receive my BF ERA SS ( I've learned the proper initials for this thing, but actually building and using one is a WHOLE nuther animal,lol)

Screws come loose. This is a fact, if it was not a fact there would be no need for lock washers or thread locker. With the heating and cooling (expanding and contracting) of the metal in the atty with use this is bound to happen to some. I have had times when nothing happened, but then again sometimes I do have to retighten the screws.

Just received my Chalice and holy s*** this thing is a beast! I didn't imagine it would hit much better than my A7 but wow, this thing is in a whole other league of nic coma inducing bliss.. even with a very similar coil setup. (32ga kanthal, 2.5ohms, 1/2" single 3mm silica wick)

I think it works better because the way it's designed none of the juice pools to be recycled, only whats absorbed by the wick so every squonk is like a freshly blown out atty (better actually) and the side air intake, the draw is perfect for me.

Only negative thing I've noticed is that somehow juice seems to collect in the milled out section under the drip tip, I'm not even sure how it can get all the way up there.

Agreed, the A7 doesn't hold a candle to either the Chalice, ERA or a phoenix RBA IMHO.

Absolutely right on. I had set aside my Chalice when the two ERAs came in a couple of weeks ago. Was getting some grief from one of them yesterday and wasn't in the mood to fiddle with it, so it got replace with the Chalice and WOW. Just a perfect vape!

I can't decide if I like the ERA or the Chalice better. When set up correctly they are both just perfect for me. At this point they are equally easy to set up, each has some minor pluses and minuses, possibly the Chalice feels a little better built. I guess the big factor here is cost/value. The Chalice is great, but at $150 I can't say its more than twice as good as the ERA. The one thing that really bugs me about the Chalice is the drip tip. I just cant get used to metal tips. I end up replacing it with my favorite plastic tip, but it kills me that I'm only using 2 of the 3 pieces of this $150 atty. It feels like I'm wasting a $30 drip tip!

Ok so what's the best thing to use to rebuild with right now I have been using silica and haven't had any problems and am kind of scared of cotton as I don't want to burn it.

I just use 3mm Silica works great for me but some of the cool kids are using SS mesh

LOL I run both the SS wick and the Silica, I can not tell much difference in the flavor or over all production of the ERA. (That could just be me)

I do think that the wick set up will last longer then the Silica wick so it should work for a long term wick.

Like I said I have two weeks on the first set up and its going strong no change from when I first installed it. I am going to keep this set up on the Grand and see just how long I can get out of it before I need to change it out.

Ok I have received all the parts I have ordered on this list and all work as replacement parts for the ERA

Sorry for not getting back to this sooner. I have switched my ERA's out with the Phillips Machine Screw and it makes building a new wick much easier IMO.

Now this is not the cheapest place to get the stuff but you can get it all in one place.

NOTE: O-Rings there may be a slight deference in Each ERA so it was suggested to pick up both orings just in case you cap is to loos you can use the bigger ones.

been using an O ring I found in my insanity tinker bag that I got from home depot, I don't know the size as I lost the baggie

if anyone wants I can post a pic with a ruler along side so you can go grab some local, at worst you buy extra they're dirt cheap

I've had mine set up for over a week now with the same bamboo wick ( I was switching wicks daily as its a two sec operation but decided to keep going for longevity)

I'm running 2 ohms at 5 volts and its still working perfectly (10 wraps of 30 awg around a 14 gauge needle, 7 strands of aunt lydias bamboo crochet viscose)

I got my top feed ERA in the mail yesterday and slapped it on a tube mod. I built my first coil and landed at around 2.05ohm and am running at 5volts. I feel like that is a bit too much, but its vaping nicely and no problems.

I'm with you on this. It was the shortest wick experiment I've ever done. Lasted about 1 minute!
