On the 200 you could set the display to show the voltage for each battery when charging. It's under the screen setting. So it's not the greatest. But at least you can plug it in for a few minutes and see what the voltage for each cell is.

It would be nice if the display option could be unique for each profile. That way you could set a profile then set it for the in use screen if you didn't need all 8 and didn't want to plug it in.

Those are both good ideas, I'd forgot about the "charging" display preferences.

And I've been griping for a few weeks about not being able to change the line selections on the fly, but separate choices per profile would be a workable half-alternative.

I'm loving this retro 1960 sci fi combo. Sorry it's blurry my phone is having camera (and microphone ) issues.

Anyway. I can embrace the funk with this. Could be a Halloween prop. Silver is a finger print magnet but it's pretty cool looking with some tanks and drippers. The finish seems coated well. Time will tell.

The SDNA75 has been the go to since I received them. 3 in rotation now & 4th is on loan to a friend to decide if he liked the form factor enough to buy one. Starting to get a little concerned I may not get the red one back.

The only weird thing I had was the wood finish one I got, even though it was obviously new & shrink wrapped had not been loaded with Daniel's initial settings and presets. Did have some odd presets 1/2 programmed, but nothing like it should have been. Don't know of this happened at the factory or if it was a re-wrap. I just copied the entire mod settings from the Silver one to set it up. & it appears to be fully functional with no other issues. Odd though.

And Tpat's DNA stable loses a loved one. :(
A moment of silence, please.

j/k.
The good news is, if you need to get it back you'll probably get it back... enabler. :p
I had to convince myself I didn't need a third one, so far so good.

That's a bit disconcerting about the Wood though. Ecig sale?
Something to drop them a note about in case an issue comes up?

DNA 60 released
evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/post/dna-60-8189652?pid=1292935742

From Brandon
Evolv is proud to announce our new DNA 60 board. It is a DNA 40 sized board with the added functionality of EScribe. The boards are available now in extremely limited quantities to enable our customers to have products on the market before the FDA August 8th deadline. Because of component lead times, volume availability is not expected until October of 2016. As a result customers will be limited to 1 board per device that they plan to release plus one board as a spare.

Attached is a solid model of the board. It is largely the same dimensions as the DNA 40 with the following exceptions.

-The inductor on the back of the board is 4mm high like the DNA 20 & 30 not 3.5mm like the DNA 40.

-The fire button is the green fire button from the DNA 75 & 200 not the 3.1mm tall button from the DNA 40.

-The adjust buttons are new, taller and clickier than the previous buttons but still waterproof.

- The board has 5 through holes on the bottom for data and charger. Our 1 amp charger has been updated to include USB data pins.

Individual quantity pricing is as follows:

$59.99 with charger
$49.99 without charger
There should also be a DNA 250
Huge news for SxSs. DNA60 announced with Escribe about same size DNA40.

Finally an Evolv TC board small enough for a side by side that works with Escribe.

Hello i just ordered a SMY SDNA75. It is my first DNA device and also my first 18650 battery device.I need to order batteries and was wondering which are the best for this.I was thinking LG HG 2 but i have no real idea about the best kind.Thank you for any help.

VTC4's are still considered one of the best. I just bought a few more here:

Sony VTC4 18650 2100mAh 30A Flat Top LiMn Battery

READ all about batteries from our resident expert MOOCH here:

Index | E-Cigarette Forum

He has TESTS & CHARTS, and you can compare. The VTC4's are WELL regarded!

According to the DNA75 Datasheet, the max input current is 28 amps. I would use a 25R at the very least if it was me or one the batteries the other guys suggested. Even though the 25R is also rated at 20 amps, Samsung is known to be conservative with their ratings. It really depends on how hard you plan on pushing it. My signature has a link to an 18650 article written by Mooch himself. I recommend checking it out. Good luck and enjoy your new mod.

Thanks for the help guys,i should of mentioned i am a low wattage vapor now around 11 w and higher ohm builds like 1.0ohm to 1.5 ohm and strictly MTL. No idea where to start with a 316L SS build to replicate this for TC!
We're similar vapers. I have LG HE2's (2500mah 20a) and Samsung 25r's (2500mah 20a) and both batteries are very good. I get mine from Amazon. They have the best prices and ship fast.

I was building 1.2 - 1.5Ω kanthal builds at 10-15w and MTL. With 26g 316L, I build a 3mm ID coil with 6 wraps for about .45Ω. I set my mod to 25-30w and 420-450°F with a 50w preheat for 1s. I'm finding a 2.5mm ID coil is a bit better but I'm also using 28g 430ss now. This gives me a similar vape to a 1.5Ω kanthal build but it's much more consistent.
