New Kanger K1 dna 75 mod. Wasn't expecting that. I like.. want to see more.

OK, I saw Kanger and I thought you didn't know what you were talking about, as I was sure it was one of the $500 Element mods. But sure enough it's a Kanger and I saw it listed for pre-order at $55. This looks very interesting!!!

I didn't expect Kanger to come out with a DNA mod, it actually looks awesome too imo.

I may like it even more than the VT75 Nano, I think I'm gonna wait for some user-reviews before I make up my mind but I'm putting her on top of the wishlist right now.

The design looks like a Zero. At $55, I was willing to give it a shot. At $95, I'd rather get another VT75 Nano.

Well with a price increase from $55 to $95 it just went from take a chance to wait and see. I emailed them yesterday about the color and they responded, but didn't bother to mention the upcoming price increase.

i've been on the fence for some time with the dna chips. when i saw i could buy the smy sdna 75 for under $50 i fell right off. i'm a geek at heart and just can't wait to make some graphs and configure to my heart's content!

So long as it qualifies as being on the market by 8/8 the initial list price doesn't matter as the price will eventually drop.

I expect that initial post seeing $55 was just a vendor error, since corrected to ~$90.
If it stays there... that seems just a tad low for stab wood, but I've never followed that.

Then again... Kanger's big enough to get bulk material pricing. Maybe it'll stay there or lower.

Be aware the max res is lower on these than the other Evolv boards, it's a sliding scale with wattage that is in a graph in the spec sheet. 0.5 ohm for 75 W, 1 ohm for 35 W, 1.5 ohm for 25 W.

Yes the trick is the maximum voltage is 6v. So as long as you are not running at higher than that or 28a, whatever your coil resistance is shouldn't matter much.
