Hmm, too bad, I guess he gets lots of email.
Not sure what he chose for the SDNA, but on the files I downloaded from his website for the VT200 he uses a different custom curve. I had both profiles on my VT at the exact same settings so I could just switch between them to compare them & the difference in performance is pretty clear.
The only comparison I did was the Escibe Titaniums G1 preset, on one of my SDNA75's, and the Titanium preset on a new SDNA75 with Dans settings. vape was the same. It would be interesting to know if he changed all the standard presets that are normally now included within Escibe or not. There is no easy way to get the overall TCR of an existing TCR file, I asked this question on the Escibe forum. You can do a lot of math to figure it out, was the answer. It's too bad an excepted naming convention was not adopted, so that at least the name of a TCR included the BASE number of the TCR, like "Titanium G1 0.035". I have done this with TCR's downloaded from SteamEngine. But downloading TCR's that users create and offer, it's up to that user to name them differently then the stock settings. Hope I'm clear on this.
