Also I have a sister who uses a radius with a kabuki, I have tried to get her onto a dna boarded device for tc but she's die hard provari and has 2 radii and a p3 or whatever the newest tube-like provari is. Just for science (I have nothing to measure coil temps with) I took one of her old nautilus coils, rebuilt it with some nife48 and ran it on one of mine at like 400F, & the wattage used was like, less than half of what she uses.

But yeah it doesn't sit well with me bc I got them started vaping.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Some morning coffee "porn" for Steamer -

That's the Big Fogger on the Dripp3D box mod. Yes, the ERM+ has an Aromamizer V2 with a Ti coil set. In the background is an old Istick30 with an old iClear on it that my wife uses sometimes.

There's also those who believe the obs engine nano is the best rta ever created by mortal hands or whatever, they aren't hard to find... are those people somehow less crazy than squankers? to each his own I say.

SMM atty, To small for a big Clapton coil! IMO
I put a big Clapton coil in it put it on one of my bigger battery mods, looked stupid on there :(
The capacity can't be more than 3 mills, with a big performance coil it will need refilling way to often.
I put a simple round wire coil in it, about 3.5 mil diameter & raised it up high, so the air flow would get under the coil, not hitting it on the side.
I put it on my VT75 nano :) It looks good on there & is performing pretty well :)
The build quality is pretty good, nice smooth threading, deck screws have some nice girth :)
All in all pretty good LITTLE atty :)
Even with a simple round wire coil it's half empty in less than an hour :(

He's been hanging around here too, your right he better move on soon! Hired a painter to paint the outside of this big old house. It's been a nightmare since day one, and the lies since day one, OMG! Was supposed to be done by the 12th, now it's only half way done. Last Friday I overheard the workers complaining they haven't been paid, they were right outside the window of my den. I heard one of them say he's afraid he'll get screwed, he can't file a complaint because he's on disability and not suppose to be working, he's been 40 feet up on a ladder!!! I confronted them, they told me he was to pay them each day in cash and they only got $30 each so far for a week of work.... The other worker has his own contracting business and is subcontracting part of the job with the guy I hired, he said it's first and last time. I made this guy put in the contract any worker would be "fully covered" with insurance in case someone fell off a ladder and got hurt, that's how I lost my leg. Knowing I'll take a loss on the half down I gave him I had no choice but to boot him out of here and fire him, now he's threatening to sue me for breach of contract, dumb #$*. I think I worked out a deal with the subcontractor to finish the job, he said he'd be happy to help and at least he'll get some money for painting the house. The guy I hired hasn't been here more then six hours while the other two have done all the work. Meeting with my attorney today, need to get them retained so I can tell this jerk to stop calling and texting me, he can contact my lawyer if he needs to reach me. I already told him to never come back here again or I'll have him arrested for trespassing. The things he's said in the text's will only help me in court, he's not very bright. I just want to get the damn job finished, everything is a mess around here, it's not helping my blood pressure....

make it so all the new mods have to come with a failsafe that doesn't let the coil go over 450F,

:nah: No way, do you know what you are asking for? Limiting the max temp on a mod to 450°f does nothing unless they remove adj tcr, adj tfr and wire type selection.
To truly ensure a user doesn't exceed 450°f at the coil would require a closed system mod/atty. I would quit vaping.

Or.......

A mod that could automatically determine the TCR. Which I think would be possible if someone put their mind to it.

Something like, put an exactly 5mm length (or whatever) of wire between the two terminals and select "Measure TCR" from the menu.

Quit! Not me, I've got enough mods and boards to last me a very, very long time! Even though I rarely go above 450 there have been a few times I have and I wouldn't want a mod that limits me. I don't need the government to hold my hand, give me the information if they know of something harmful and I will decide how I live my life.
