I honestly don't understand why women interested in science are never taken seriously here...
So... Do we already have (or going to have) a place for discussing nickel wire coil building for different RBAs? Tutorials? Pictures? Tips? I have to admit that I can't figure out how that nickel wire is supposed to work in real life. Brandon didn't explain that part very well.
I'm probably going to wait for that 25-watt chip, but I would like see what people are doing ATM.

What I would like to see is a place, a thread or maybe even a subforum, dedicated to DNA 40--I know the mods hate adding new subfora, but this is a completely new technology and the information is already scattered all over the place--which is a pain.

As the owner of this thread, do you think we could request a DNA 40 subforum? This is a whole new ballgame. New technology, different coil builds...

I'm really understanding both sides of the coin. The concern for sensitivity to nickel still bothers me though. Will have to wait and see I guess.
What I'd like to see now is this Dr. (?) that's studing the eliquid/favoring @ different temps findings. How does temp break down the eliquid/flavors and into what?
Also these questions were post and never saw replies to them.
1. "Have you been dry burning the caramelized juice off of your nickel coils as one would with kanthal? That aspect wasn't discussed in the video."
2. "curious if theres a way to use nr-r-nr type atties like diver, sophia...with the dna40 and still take advantage of temp limit? wondering if using ss or other wire as "nr" would work?"
I'm assuming the answers (yeah I know what they say about assuming)
1. The nickel heats up so I'd guess that you can clean it the same way.
2. if the dna40 knows the type of wire being used and kanthal is present then it makes since that the answer would be No. However, that being said, just what is the dna40 board picking up on since two types of wires are being used even if they are connected (often with a 3rd metal).
Not knowing the specs and studying each set of testers results and the different wicking materials, different flavors, pg and vg ratios etc, how can I make a well informed and educated decision?
This is why I'd rather read and study the reports on the wire, the board and the studies on eliquid for myself.

Oh and what was PB showing us with the melting wire on that device? Was he showing a low ohm coil at a high wattage melting kanthal? I must need to go watch it all again to catch that.
