Was reading different threads around the forum and came across this video... was interesting to me for three reasons.
A new mod, said to be user serviceable, and the 510 connector in it. As we all know connectivity at the 510 connector can cause issues with Temp Limiting/Protection devices. Evolv has been interested I think in a better connector design. Who knows but this may just be a better mouse trap (connector). Thought this would be a good video for this thread.

Got some of these in the vape mail today. Nickel coil cartomizers. Haven't give them a try yet. Never could use my carto tanks in temp mode but now? Gonna give them a spin...... 0.27 or 0.38 ohm

ya lost me with that one.... variety of openings? What is that....
Under the "Feed" option there is 1mm to 2mm, and, a "variety" pack with different openings, presumably in one package.

I'm trying out some Atlantis nickel coils I also got today. Have been waiting a long time for these to come out. After I give these a whirl I'm gonna grab a carto tank and give the carto's a go....My understanding is they were made by Boge at the request of the vendor and are exclusive to that vendor.
I ordered one of these the day they opened on the site, 45-60 day waiting time though. When it eventually arrives I'm hoping it's as good as it looks.
Hope they are good too....from the video it seems a lot of work went into the design....

On the nickel cartomizers.... plugged one in a tank and vaped at 430F@8.5 watts with initial ohm reading of 0.27 and it refined to 0.24 ohms and I changed setting to 450F @ 7.5 watts...very good flavor and vapor for a carto tank.... and with a nickel carto no less....

Edited my last post with an update on first impression of the new cartomizer.
As far as the Atlantis nickel coils the first impression is positive also... liking them...biggest difference between carto tanks and clearomizer tanks (like the Atlantis) is air flow and vapor volume I think.

Pre-coiled nickel wires just appeared on FastTech. Several gauges and diameters. I may give them a try when I order next.

EDIT: premade coils for atomizers in various ohm ratings... bulk purchase of 50 for 10 bucks...just coils to screw into your topper....
