Exploding Njoy

In response to my sending the Fox 23 story to njoy, Craig Weiss (President and CEO of njoy) sent me the following.

njoy takes any claim of any type of product failure very seriously and immediately investigated this report. We have spoken to the woman who was the subject of the story and she has confirmed that, contrary to reports, the device did not "explode" and is fully intact.

If it didn't explode what was the damage a result of? What happened here?

I would love to see some sort of official statement from NJOY or a follow up of the news station in regards to the findings of this story. One can dream.

I seriously doubt the station will do a follow up since they failed to do any initial investigation. I'm afraid any belief I ever had in what I hear on the news is completely gone now. I'm sure the only reason the story was ever aired was for the possible sensationalism they were hoping to cause.

Reality TV News shows today are not interested in old fashioned journalism.
The public at large is no longer capable of critical thinking and wants
to be entertained and told what to think. Thus ... Realty TV News
with slanted reporting.

The "Dumbing Down of America" efforts have been successful
Those capable of critical thinking are now a shrinking minority.

The Nanny State wishes to express a warm and heart-felt thanks
to the Political Correctness movement.

If this was an outright lie then some type of action should be taken against the little old lady and the "reporter".
The reporter should lose her press card.

The next thing you know the networks will be telling us who to vote for.

How about contacting a competing station to report on the bad report?

Ok I am thinking she was opening the pack when it came out she hit the lamp it fell over blowing th bulb(flash of light) the njoy flew across the room hit the hanging pice knocking it down. Then she found the njoy the next day. I found this today went to the store got one opend the pack and accidentally flung it across the room hitting a trophy in the mantle and knocking it off.
