hey buddy, nice set-up. how is the flavor of the 32g at 1 ohm? have you compared it to a thicker gauge yet?

I do have a 28g 1ohm coil in my AGI. Its just awesome, perfect vape. I am going to get some more 28 and 30g wire today, recoil my new rba. So far flavor and performance is great. still on 1st tank, so, i can only guess it gets better from here.

definatly will get better. I do like the flavor with a thicker gauge but like the ease of wrapping with a thinner gauge, that's why the 29g is a great all around wire imo.

maybe my analogy doesn't pertain to a short wick, maybe theres more to it, next time will try and see how it performs. also good point on it standing up better in case of an accident, and less chance of it snapping while coiling, would be a little trickier hot wrapping though.

What I did was to put a few strands of Nextel around the top part of the wick, no need to hot wrap, although at the end of a tank, when the dreaded dry hit appears, you will get a burning rope taste.

Just an update on my Cobra chronicles; I ended up widening the hole I bored out from 7/64 to 1/8, this puts it very close to the centre pin, but there is room to make it happen. Now all my 1/8th FC-2000 wicks fit in with room to spare and the Cobra is burning through juice nicely.

Nice dude. I've never seen a cobra :)

bought some of the 116 last week, tried sleeving a 7/64 ceramic. It wasn't easy to fit it over but eventually did. now it was pretty thick and it made for a very high resistance compared to my usual. in the end it didn't work for me, should of done what you said and just used some of the threads, but this sounds just like the cheese cloth? any difference?

definatly need a little gap in there for sure. for the most part on my 1/8 wicks I use 28g, 29g wires, so a couple of weeks ago I received some 26 & 27g wire, I proceeded to make a 26g wrap for the ac-9 with an older roundy ceramic wick (no slots) the older wicks are slightly bigger then the newer ones, for they are a true 1/8. anyways I did a 4/5 wrap, which came in at .9Ω and it just wasn't working very good. I took a good look at it and realized that with the bigger 1/8 wick and such a thick wire it was to snug in the wick hole. I changed to a 7/64 wick and it made all the difference, I also took off 1 wrap to make it at around .6Ω this is now an awesome set-up for sure. one thing for sure is that the thicker the gauge the better the flavor but less of a TH.
