Okay...1/8 by 1 5/8...everyone agree?

I'll be getting my AGA-T2 with a 1/8 inch hole drilled by the factory.

They will do that?

Heck I drilled out 2 holes next to the 2 ground screws and also 2 more 3mm threaded holes with allen key bolts in them I have 7 holes total 4 threaded, 2 smooth wick holes, 2 earth holes, 2 extra holes for filling or air flow, and the center post hole. at the moment the second wick hole has a silicon plug in it that I use to fill with juice.
I wish the AGA had a larger center post like 1mm larger, and 5mm taller so you can fit nuts washers springs with ease.

Plan is to make 2x ceramic wicks with 1.6 ohm windings onto a mechanical mod to give me 0.8 ohm between them and hopefully a ton of vapor... well thats the plan... so far I am enjoying single wick setup....

I dont know what's going on, but I cant seem to get the ribbon to stick to the wick....
Then I tried 30 awg and couldnt get that to stick to the wick

am I loosing it here? damn,........

packed it up, going to run some alcohol through the wick and try again tomorrow....

I dont like it when things that you could do before all of a sudden dont without some obvious reason

I couldnt get the .8mm x .1mm kanthal wire to stick either last night. Alcohol didnt help either...oh... you meant for the wick.

hey got a question about the 3/32 wicks.. pictures below are of my aga-t, and a 3/32 metal scriber. you can see, the scriber tip is a little longer than the lenth of a wick for the aga-t. you can see in the second pic how far i can put the 3/32 tip into the handle, and tighten it down. anyone think i could hot wrap a 3/32 wick without it breaking, seeing how deep i can bury it in the handle of the scriber? or is it simply too brittle to try? thanks

Just a note before you do the dual wick Elias IMO you will need 2x 1.2 -1.3 ohm coils giving a 0.6 -0.7 ohm final res. Somthing about the dual wick setup that a loses some oomph somwhere and also you need a quicker response from the lower res or the topcap heats up too much before you get a proper hit.

Fair enough, it's just a thought, Im not having an issue with the current 1 wick setup and even that causes some serious heat in the top cap

Here is the AGA-T without the wick in it, thought I'd take a shot with the setup holes etc that I have

How is someone suppose to read the text on the image?

top left second earth screw
top right second wick hole

right second fill / air hole

bottom right main wick hole
bottom left main earth screw

left main fill hole

I drilled out the holes and tapped them myself, I can tell you that this is 100% stainless steel, you realize this as you tap it and the tap starts to flex and you stress over the fact that it may snap off inside the hole.

The fill plug is from the R-Tank by smoktech, it fits perfectly into the 3mm hole, I had this spare because the R-Tank melted the first time I dry burnt the stainless wick in it because the top is plastic..... love the spring loaded posts but no good if the spring falls through the top of the housing cause its melting, what a waste of money that was....didnt even get to vape from it once... also there is exposed solder in the tank.... perfection at its best (if they are trying to poison us)

the two fill holes are because many times I use a bottle to fill the tank directly no needles and the juice would always come out the wick due to pressure, so I made a second hole to allow the air to escape there, being both the same its one tool and squeeze and done.... but that is with my bottles that have a small opening....

Where do you get the silicon fill hole plug?

If you have a Body piercing/tattoo studio around you, or even a mall with a Piercing kiosk (or Spencer's Gifts)..look for a set of 3mm (8 gauge) silicon body plugs (used for gauged ear piercings)...they usually have many to choose from, and most have either a sharp taper (narrower in the center), or flanged on the ends to keep them in. If you find a pair that are solid, or have a very small hole; just cut them in half & you'll have four silicon plugs that will do the trick.

If they carry 8 gauge silicon tapers, even better.. I just cut them off to the length I want.

Fishstix!!!
length is not an issue anymore :)

I think I can get about 15 wicks out of the 6". so this wick cost me about 50 cents...
EHWed, took about 2mn to have a good flow. I can't see much of a diff. with the FC right now it works really good. we'll see how it holds the next couple of days...

Daventura, I was not implying you were thread jacking, please dont take my comment that way. I am very interested in what you are doing and would be glad to help out more. I just think that there are a lot of ECF members who may not read this thread, but could provide some valuable insight.

i was thinking the same thing when daventura wasnt getting alot of input about the specifications. i definatly would think that a separate thread would help, but now it seems like he may of gotten the info he was after.
