I don't know how the FDA's actions on menthol in cigarettes might affect their actions on ecigs, but I can't help but think it related.
Anyway, the FDA has granted a 60 day extension on public input on menthol in cigarettes.
This Week in CTP ? September 10, 2013
Yes, it would have a direct effect on e-cigs in the future, it they can start regulating Menthol in cigarettes, it's a very small leap for them to try and place restrictions on the e-cig,
juice industries, this seems like a back road for them to take in order to make their ridiculous arguments they are trying to make now that younger people are smoking due to the menthol flavoring added to cigarettes to make it easier for them to regulate flavors in their upcoming ruling on e-cigs etc. They have quite a few comments their from people I just find to be totally out of line and trying to use poor judgement and utterly ridiculous claims that menthol leads to more young people smoking cigarettes. The FDA wouldn't know what is truly good versus bad if it bit them right in their collective butts, it's just another way for the Government to stick their noses in where it shouldn't be, they have taken enough from us as is but always want to take more. Whatever needs to be done to fight back on these self serving oppressor's I am all in for. If it wasn't for e-cigarettes and flavors I would still be smoking analogs, I have tried all the other cessation products and none of them did 1 bit of good to help me stop. I smoked for more than 30 years and had quit on 2 previous occasions but nothing stuck and I always went back, with e-cigs or any type makes it much easier for those wishing to stop smoking to do so without the stress and pains as the other methods, not to mention the fact that many of their so called cessation products caused other issues that should be addressed then what the heck kind of flavor is in a cigarette! This is just absurd to say the least.
