...

If anyone gets Attorney Emord to fight the FDA.
I'll immediately contribute 4 figures to the legal fund.

A Very Commendable Commitment Petrodus.

But to wage the type of Litigation that might be needed might cost Bucu Dollars. The type of dollars that something like a Trade Organization might be able to generate.

I just read through this whole thread, I have signed the petition, joined CASAA a few months ago, participated in the Penn State study, posted my story in the comments on the deeming regulations, tweeted this and posted it to facebook. Is there anything else I can do? If i can't vape i know i will go back to cigarettes and that is something I never want to do.

Well, I'm sick of worrying about it, that's why I'm stocking up on supplies and MODS like there is no tomorrow:
And as far as I'm concerned:

I see you're from Texas.
Word on the street is ...
Texans will not go silently into the dark.

I removed the post ... just a small rant

No... There isn't going to be any Night in Shining Armor.

But does that mean vapers should crawl back into their holes an just wait for whatever is going to happen? Again, I say No.

Would it hurt to e-Mail Major e-Liquid Retailers and ask them what they know and what course of Action they are they are considering?
What about e-Mailing the AEMSA? Are they still around?
Has Lorillard/Blu and or Johnson Creek been contacted?
Since litigation seems like the next step, is Anyone starting to get organized? Ie: Seeking potential Law Firms, Setting up a Defense Fund, contacting people in Prominent Positions to give Expert Testimony, etc.
Are vapers thinking about Stocking up on Both e-Liquids and Cartos?
Are any vapers considering doing a Ramp Down to 0mg?

It all going to Change. Those who have been around for awhile and can be Emotionally Devoid long enough to think about it have seen it coming for a Long Time.

The question Now is what does a Vaper do to Deal With the Changes?

Good Job on being Actively Involved.

Do you have a couple of minutes to e-Mail you e-Liquid Retailer and ask them what they Know?

The Legislation forum is going to be on-fire for sometime to come.
The closer we get to April ... The more we will accept the FDA
couldn't care less about health and saving lives.

As far as the FDA is concerned ...
Its just business ... Nothing personal

Actually, that's not totally true.
The FDA is still "ticked-off" about losing its legal battle
to ban e-cigarettes. I'm sure (in part) ... they are
looking forward to April for a little "Pay Back"

All good questions !!
I'm sure we all would like to know more and I'm sure there are
some members with inside information and can make suggestions.

One thing you can do is attend the next CASAA meeting.
Or you can just email them at board@casaa.org and ask how you can help.

Really? There are people who know about the deeming regulations and don't take them seriously?
They must be people who DIY, and figure they can smuggle in juice, and don't care about anyone else.

DIYer's won't be able to buy nicotine so it would be one big terrible mess, and a black market could be quite dangerous. I think I'd be forced to go back to smoking if I couldn't vape, and I'm smoke free over 2 years. I've written to the FDA and signed the White House petition. I hope more ppl sign the petition, (link is on the top of this forum) we need 20,000 more sigs!!! Banning the ecig would be the same as mass murder!

I can't find those on their web site, and I have not received email about them like I did last year, even though I've attended one this year. The event calendar comes up blank for me.

Is it a browser issue? Is it only tested with one browser?

BTW, I'm in the process of composing letters to save and send (or hand-deliver!) to my Congresscritters come April. Right now I'm concerned that they'd just say I was jumping the gun.

Since I'm a pretty serious liberal (on most but not all things), and so are my reps and senators, I'm going to couch my argument in terms of my right as a woman to control my body without having to listen to the voices that say "Either abstain or take the consequences." Since my cough is present and my fertility is long-gone, that means my right to vape. And I'm going to compare the patches etc to the Rhythm Method. (The Rhythm Method is MUCH more effective!!!!)

I realize folks from other states (or even other districts) would take a totally different tack.

IMO the idea is to resonate with whatever claims your personal Congresscritters got elected on, which of course varies widely from place to place but should really not include trying to kill us off, no matter which district (with the possible exception of districts that include Big Pharma facilities....)

And I want a chance to go through a number of drafts, run them by friends, maybe make short and long versions, etc, all before CASAA says "Go!"

Thx. If every vendor put a link I think we would hit rhe 25k in time.

GREAT idea! I know that would have some bearing on my trying out new vendors as well. Id be much more apt to place an order with them if they were with us on this.
