FDA Still Detaining & Holding E Cig Shipments

I finally got my packages. It only took about 40 days....
They even sent me a letter still claiming they are medical devices and that other shimpments may be detained.

WOW, they are releasing some. I guess mine must be at the bottom of a pile since they've had it since Nov 24th. My batteries and CE2's, no nic juice, must be at the top of their don't send list.

Through my reading in the forums, I have seen quite a few suppliers discuss multi-thousand dollar orders being held by customs. FWIW, I do know that you can talk to Health Cabin, and I believe they will re-ship. They don't have the super-bulk prices though.

My order was from Royal Smokers (e-liquid Web Shop). It contains 100 CE2's and 3 batteries. No nic liquid nothing else. Still no word. If I hadn't called I wouldn't have known that they even detained it. I really don't expect to ever see it. Hard to get any money back since it still shows the package is at customs. If they would have sent it back I could have done something. Right now I'm just out the money.

Starting a business and have thus far neglected ordering from China out of concern start up assets will be lost.
I'll take a loss of paying more here, and let others (at this time) take the risk.

Why aren't we holding demonstrations to demand our congress persons do something about this?
Perhaps descending en mass to their offices would get them off their asses to force the FDA to either release the packages or send them back so folks weren't being held in an FDA limbo forever.
Maybe just maybe it could get us {ecig users} the positive attention we need so people can see how the FDA does not protect their health by trying to ban safer alternatives.
These are the folks who said "cigarette smoking is much safer than ecigs".

To my understanding, if the supreme court denies rehearing the FDA's case or even if they hear it and it's shot down again, all packages will be released. I don't think the supreme court will hear it IMO.

I ordered a 1.2kg bottle of juice from CN shop in China right at the start of their holiday. It made it through customs soon after they sent it (after the holiday). It was even labeled e-juice, so maybe smaller packages are getting through here on the East coast.

Well my package was released and arrived yesterday. So if anyone else still has a package being held there is hope. I did get a chuckle when the Post Office called and said they had this package and they needed to get it delivered by 3pm. I told her since it had been mailed in Nov there really wasn't a big rush. It certainly drew a big silence on the phone.

I'm guessing this is why so many vendors are 'Out of stock" on some items. I wondered why it was taking so long to restock (been a month for some items).
