i know my story pales in comparison to some of your issues, but things have been rough for me lately, me and my girl are struggling so bad, my hours at work have been cut down so bad we are drowning in the debt, my car is broken down, and i can barely pay for my bills, i hope my juice supply holds me over till things pick up, i have 3 boys, and im worried about wether or not i will be able to provide for my family, the job market is so messed up right now that i can't find work, she cant seem to get work either. the money worries are putting a huge strain on our family and i think the kids are picking up on it. if it wasnt for the people here and how generous and helpful everyone has been i might have lost it. vaping helps me alot and its much better than smoking analogs. i just thought i would share, i really hope things pick up for me, not being able to provide for my family the way i used too kills me, and i know they deserve better.

It's late and Ive just read over all these stories since i posted earlier just goes to show we really are brothers and sisters under the skin .I keep on going with the good Lords help even when trials hit .Since the earlier post I got a disconnect notice for the electricity on Monday if I don't get $120.00 paid by then.Well I put it in God's hands and I have faith that he will provide.I wish I could address each of your posts but I can't all I can offer is to pray that each one of you finds the answer to what ever might be your burden. He will answer. For me I know that I find reading of others problems makes me stop and think that my problems ar'ent so bad. It's late and I just needed to get this out; now I think I can sleep.

Hello, everyone.

I'm doing alright tonight. Struggling, but in a struggle that's worth having and the spoils of which are beyond being worth it.

But, I wanted to let you all know that you confirm my suspicion. There are very few great people who have not suffered tremendously. The ones you make it through and survive the kind of impact many of you have are the ones who become great, in the knowledge they have an unbreakable spirit no matter how badly hurt it may be.

I wish all of you some peace tonight. For yourself, for your livelihood, for your children if you have them.

Everyone has their difficulties and this thread is sure proof of that. There's always someone else who is going thru difficulties in their life that seem to diminish your own problems. Life is full of learning experiences and sometimes those experiences sure don't seem easy. But, there's always hope and prayer for better days to come. I will definately keep all of you in my prayers. Wishing everyone's day better than yesterday and even better tomorrow.

It is such a joy to see my friends and family find a little bit of comfort, just from sharing and commiserating. Keep posting!

Yes my day got better <grin> It went from sadness and ache to undeniable happiness. Life is funny like that. One minute our problems can be so overwhelming and we can feel so alone, and the next minute it can do a 360* and life seems amazing and will take your breath away.

It helps to reach out, because we can offer insight, solutions, ideas.. but mostly it helps just to be there for each other- To listen, to share, to cry with one another. Sometimes my problems do feel like the weight of the world upon my shoulders.. but I am so thankful that I can come here and know, absolutely know in my heart, that my adopted family will understand.

Peace

I was down till this comment! My feelings included in vid.....NEVER again!
YouTube - Chuck E Cheese Hell

she did say open invitation. May have to find a chuckee cheese of sorts if everyone brings their kids... but it must be a PV friendly place.

I know this is the feeling blue thread, but talking about this makes me happy :)-- so does that count?

I've been feeling blue all day. Only because I had a molar pulled. Owie Effen Owie! I look like a lopsided chipmunk. :-( My kids drove me crazy till they passed out for the night and all this while taking Darvocet for the pain every 4 hours. My son couldn't come help cause he worked a double today and my bff is in Atlanta filming a car commercial. (he's a stuntman). Cause it was surgically removed not pulled, my recovery time is longer and I have school all day tomorrow. Anyone have a shoulder for me to lean on?
I know I sound pathetic. I can't even vape for three days at least and can only eat liquids and soups. I want my mommy!

Feeling a bit down today. I think I either sprained, fractured, or broke on of my toes.. I don't think I broke it... but more so sprained it most likely.. go me for being clumsy and stubbing it on one of hubby's heavy metal tool drawers on the basement floor! >_< so ouch.. and I didn't get much done on my drawings. and I'm so sleepy.. bleh.. feelin a tad blue..

hes actualy only 5, but im pretty much the only father he has ever really had, dad, has been gone most of his life, and hasnt paid a dime in child support

Hi Steve...kids are open books... They say what's on their minds... He's probably trying to figure out why some kids have their real fathers active in their lives and why his is not. His reaction is most likely not so much about you, but about himself. I was adopted at 4 by the man I call Dad and said all kinds of crazy stuff... I didn't love him any less, was just a bit confused. He is the best Father a girl could have asked for...my sperm donor dad was a real piece of work but I was still curious about him and confused...
Just continue to assure him of your love..he might be testing if it's unconditional. Some extra one on one time.. Snuggles, fun and quiet book reading. He'll come around pretty quickly if he senses that he is safe in venting his frustrations and that you don't love him any less.
Hang in there... Tomorrow's a new day :)
