I received it today, not in too bad of shape, the problem with the threads on the sides of the wick hole disappeared when I enlarged the wick holes with a Dremel (clone).
About the "upgraded" glass, this one has thicker glass below the cover than my other two had.
Discovered that the top and bottom o-rings are of different size.
The only thing interchangeable between v1 and v2 are the drip tip, posts and post screws and the fill plug.

Up and running, vaping great, thanks crss

Happy Halloween & ECF rox!! DW have a great one & I know you are making some clouds.

I'm really liking this atty, but in the first week I lost the fill hole screw and had to grind down a computer screw to put in there. just tonight I lost one of the coil post screws and I don't have anything on any of my other devices that fits (that thread is TINY). Anyone have any suggestions? I'm having a lot of trouble sourcing parts for this little ........ I'd actually LOVE to replace them with thumb-screws, even if small.
Cut up the appropriate sized o-ring and shove a piece in the hole, snip off excess with nail clippers, when filling pull it out from the inside with tweezers and re-use it----- maybe

o_O not sure we're talking about the same thing. I'm talking about replacements screws for the coil posts, what the coil is held into the atty with.

Yes, my last order took 10 days to deliver. 2 drippers and drip tips, I was happy with the speed. FT does carry some nice stuff, just read all the reviews. Has any one got the v3 from SV yet?

Not sure i need another air hole for 16 bux... I could master the drill press.

    A pretty expensive air hole

I looked for a fogger v2 a few weeks ago maybe a month ago and no one had it in stock, so I placed a notification for stock on stormys vape cellar. I bought it before checking other prices, then realized I had got the v3. I haven't taken the AFC apart to check for all the changes, but I will eventually.

No idea why I tried the stock coil, was pretty nasty tasting. Took it part, washed it, and built a V core. Maybe the cotton was too thick. but it wasn't clouding like I like it at .7 ohms. Started to get nasty cotton dry hits so I ripped that out. Next was XC-116, I'll save the variations I tried and just say what I have now. I'm using XC-116 horizontally uncompressed with a .7 ohm touching wrap, no o ring over it, and the juice control opened half way. It's working good so far, but I'll have to give it the test of time. Good thing about XC-116 is that the dry hits aren't bad and the wick should last a long time. Can also dry burn vs the cotton which must be changed.

What do you mean V core?
Verticle nano dragon basically. I started messing with the XC-116 to see if more juice flow would help with my .7 build. After much juice leakage on my hands, I ripped it out and decided this isn't the device to sub ohm on factory settings. I built a horizontal 10 wrap 30 Ga nano coil and folded the cotton wick ends over on itself leaving the top o ring off. No flooding and no dry hits, looks like my VW is going to start seeing more play. The fogger looks better on the Vamo anyway. I can't comment on the taste yet as it still has some finger funk to it.

Worst part about the device is when you do it wrong and loads of juice leaks out of the air holes all over your hands and your mod. Almost got nic sick last night and this morning from that. The other part I don't like is that wrapping your leads around the posts is a major pain in the ... since the post is so close to the wall. Now its putting out like my Vamo hasn't before with some nice throat hit. I just hope it doesn't go to the dry side as I keep vaping from this tank.

I just got a Fogger V3 in the mail today from Stormy's. This is my first one, so I can't compare it to the earlier versions. It's definitely tricky to set up - I've adopted the method of cutting short leads after the coil and wrapping them around the screwdriver to create a hook for the screw posts. After about five different builds, I finally found one that really works well and produces a consistent and saturated vape with great flavor.

I wrapped 28awg Kanthal wire around a single strand of 1.5mm and 2mm Ekowool. I made about eight tight wraps like a micro coil and later compressed it from different sides immediately after dry burning and getting the coils red. I wrestled and placed the micro coil directly above the air hole. I cut the 1.5mm Ekowool just after the coil and I placed the 2mm Ekowool in the channels and cut it at the threads from the outside. I learned the hard way that you shouldn't fill the tank more than a few millimeters above where the two Pyrex sections are fused or it will leak out the air control holes (yes, I had juice all over my hands and mod too). I've only done one of these builds and I'm currently enjoying it, so I can't take any pictures. I hope that I can replicate it and it's not just a fluke.

I'm debating whether to get another Fogger V3 - this one is definitely a keeper.

Well the cotton got tossed, back to XC-116. I think this is the best material for the fogger due to its resilience to dry burning. my problem before I believe was the ohms were too low for a single coil and were cooking my juice giving a bad flavor every few puffs. Now I have a 30 Ga 8 wrap solid micro coil reading at 2.2 ohms. I now have the XC-116 compressed horizontally and vertically against the juice hole, have the o ring, and the juice control all the way down. At 8W this thing is working great. If it goes down in performance later I'll update, but for now it's working flawlessly. Finally no flooding or dry hits. Experimented with 5 setups to get here, but now that the ceramic is dialed in I won't need to build for a long time.
