I don't think that's the airflow hole. There are two airflow holes and one "dent" with a piece of rubber (to stiffen the airflow ring). The looks like the "dent" without the rubber. Does it have holes on either side of it?

So I got my v5 yesterday and did my first build on it. Got it all setup 1.4ohm coil and put it all together and filled it up. Went to try it out and it had a short. What the hell so I drained the tank took it apart adjusted the coils and put it all back together again but did not fill this time and still had a short. I played around and saw if i moved the chimney a bit I would go from correct to short. Turns out the positive post bottom edge was shorting on the chimney. I tried to move it a bit to the left and right and no dice. I finally got out my trusty file and had to file the edges down. Maybe is is just mine but why to the corners even need to be there making it solo close to the chimey even if it is not happening to yours. On a side note this is my first rebuildable tank and I must say I was shocked on the flavor difference between the fogger and my nautilus with bvc heads. I tried a capt crunch with berries liquid and in the nautilus all I tasted was berries but in the fogger I get more of the corn cereal. Other then poor build quality and hate doing the dual coils it is great.
I received a fogger v5 yesterday had no problems coiling it as I use a lot of RDAs but got this for work so I don't have to constantly keep dripping, I pushed some wick (cotton) into the juice wells and filled it up all was great had abit of juice come out the air hole but soon cleared it, anyway woke up this morning to find all my juice had leaked out onto the table and down my mod, what could have caused this? It was all screwed down tightly
Vacuum leak i would suspect! If you draw through it with the air holes pluged does it leak? Was your mod sitting straight up and down or on its side?
I can only tell you what has been working for me for about two weeks now after going through hell with the leaking issue.
1. I fill the juice wells 1/2 to 3/4 way up with cotton on the snug side.
2. I keep the coil about 1/4 inch above the base. I've found out this was the major cause of leaking for me.
3. Make my coils 1.5 mm any larger and I get leaking.
4. Add just enough to fill the wells any extra just causes leaking for me.
It was on my stingray so standing up straight, I made my coils using 28 gauge kanthol wrapped on a 2mm screwdriver I think it was came out at .94 ohms, I put cotton in the juice wells but did it before I put the chimney on so maybe I should put the chimney on and use a pin or something to push a small amount of cotton into the wells?

Don't fill the channels all the way, you want the wick ends touching the juice channels maybe in them a 1mm but no more or it will get dry. This is actually a BIG Fogger with dual Ni200 verticals but it gives the idea.

Does anyone think dual coil tanks offer better flavour? From my experience dual coil magma is better than a single coil but still only just about matches a single coil in my erlkonigin for flavour using its smallest airhole.
From my experience, the temperature of the coils determines flavor (which is a balance of adequate wicking and heat) and the power (assuming correct temperature) determines amount of vapor. The DNA40 is really bringing that home with temperature protection if used correctly. IE dual coils equals more surface area means more power means more volume everything else being equal. Take one of the two coils and vape it at half the power and same temperature the taste is the same. With that said there is an equivalent in vaping to vapor/air ratio. On a tank, opening up the air hole can be disastrous as it is the vacuum that draws in more juice. So if you block off one of the air holes in a fogger and remove that coil, you will get the same taste just half as much vapor. But it becomes difficult to compare different attys unless you use the DNA40 and leave the temperature alone and vary wattage to the point the atty can sustain that power throughout the draw. I have tried dozens of Ni200 builds with Aqua, kayfuns, squaper, regular and big foggers and I get the same taste leaving the TP at 410F and setting power to the point it will sustain that power through my entire draw. What changes is the power the atty can sustain and the amount of vapor produced.
It seems that I got a dud. Didn't have any airholes at all LOL. Got it straightened out. Tank is dope except the occasional leaks when refilling that wastes tons of juice. Still trying to master this tank.
Just got mine today in the mail and still need to get it cleaned. A few questions:
I have seeing varying opinion on filling it is AFC closed or open been determined to help avoid leaks?

I won't profess to be an expert but when I got my first fogger I tried to do it that way and got dry hits almost immediately. In my opinion while it may allow the juice to wick because it's all the way down the channels, logic tells me that there is nowhere for the air to escape and so the vacuum in the tank will just keep building up and stop the juice from wicking into the chamber. I may be wrong of course.
I personally build it this way and get good results. Get enough cotton on the deck above the channels without gaps to the sides (else you may get leaks). You also want to ensure cotton is touching the deck between the channels and the air hole so that any juice that comes in is soaked into the wick (so juice can't run directly across the deck to the air hole). I also put a small amount into the very top of the channel to improve wicking a bit.

Chinabuye just purchased a fogger v5 I think..thing holds 6mils,the package looks totally different than the other one I saw,no yaloong on the box I have no clue who makes this thing yes I will find out when it gets here my luck it will probably be garbage.
A quick couple of lines mini review for the Fogger V5 mini. This is a 16.5mm atty designed to take a single coil. I'll compare it against the Kayfun mini 2.1 clones I own, from Ivogo and Tobeco. The top fill via needle bottle is simpler than the Kayfun mini which also includes uses a needle fill in a sprung ball socket, which occasionally leaks. By comparison unscrewing the top, pulling the o-ring then filling the Fogger is so much better. Both produce great flavor because of the small, tiny actually, chamber. If you're used to building dual coils on a regular sized Fogger V4 or V5 you won't be troubled by the small build deck. I think I get more vapor with the mini Fogger compared to the Kayfun mini. I like that the Fogger has a glass tank instead of plastic. Both hold about 2.25 ml, perhaps a bit more. The Kayfun mini has an extended configuration so it holds more at the cost of a 5" atomizer. I plan on getting at least one more mini Fogger. I have enough Kayfun mini 2.1 with the pair I already have.

Here are my 2 cents on the V5...keep in mind this is from a n00b perspective since I only started re-building less than two weeks ago (Lemo), and this is my first attempt at dual coils.
I don't know if you'er supposed to aim for a certain range with dual-coils, but I ended up with a 1ohm build using 28g Kanthal. Do vapers mostly sub-ohm with duals? When I first dry-burned it, it seemed a bit slow heating up. I was firing it at 12 watts...is that too low?
Anyway, I kept it and proceeded to fill it. And by 'fill' I mean 'dump half of my juice onto the counter'. Man this thing leaks. Yes, I read the whole thread and have seen all the suggestions now, but it all seems kinda pointless when there are other options out there. Some of you have gotten the hang of this, so that gives me hope.
When I vaped it, I was underwhelmed (compared to the Lemo). In fairness, my first Lemo build had to be ripped out and buried in a non-disclosed landfill, the second was good, and on the third I nailed it. I'll keep this for a couple of days, then try another build. It's not bad really, and maybe it will break in.
Also, this thing is noisy! I like to keep the airflow wide open...could that be the reason? Speaking of the AFC ring, I can't get it to move now! It's completely stuck (until I take the whole thing apart, I guess).
Lastly, I thought the wicking was a pain. I think I used the correct amount since I'm not getting dry hits or flooding, but it was a pain (for me) cutting them to the proper size...or, maybe I need better scissors.
PS: I think it looks and feels good for the price (I played $28.50)

You want to get these thread snippers. Also for trimming Bonsai. This may not be the cheapest option but I wanted to make sure I'd get them in a few days and not weeks from China.
