Hello everyone, found this post and thought , how cool. I dont own a REO, but I hope I can share a couple of my Photos.

Great pictures! I love the Tarantula. And my wife loves BJD enough to know that was an Obitsu doll. From what I hear they have the most intricate joints

Also had to share another "Big" spider photo. That Tarantula above inspired me :p

This was of a wolf spider my wife caught for me while working at her Grandma's house. This was by far the largest wild spider I have ever seen in my 40 years of living.

That is beautiful. I love spiders and most insects. They are amazing little ( well, some not so little) The tarantula is my "pet" got it at a museum. They were having a bug show and most of them were behind glass and there were so many people. There were people selling live insects, so I bought the tarantula and a beautiful emperor scorpion. There were little kids carrying around the scorpions and the tarantulas so I bought them. I didnt think they would live for more than a couple months, was I wrong. Now they are part of my "odd" family, along with a cat and my 2 sons.

I love insects so much that I majored in entomology in college. I work with Asian long horned beetles for the USDA. I will have to post some of my photos that I have on my work PC since there are several insect lovers in the group.

Great spider photos!

I don't know if I posted these yet or not...but figured I'd do it just in case. They're by far, not great...but it's a spot I love to get lost in.

Is that you and Teagan? Is it deep enough to at least float in, if not swim? It's one of the most beautiful spots I've ever seen!

No...that's Teagan front and center...I'm behind the camera. That swimming hole is deep enough to jump off the rocks above into it. I'd say about 30'. Just Google "Whatcom Falls Park" and select Images to see way better photos (not mine). It's huge and you can easily wander around the park for days. Most of the trails are relatively flat and well groomed. But there's a ton of offshoot trails that are for the more adventurous. Swimming hole is downstream from the main falls by about 1/4 mile or so. And it's off the main trail a bit so you have to step carefully to get down to it or take another bridge and jump off the rock.

Those are sweet photos of those spiders, however, I sorta fear spiders! I know not why, I have no fear of snakes or dangerous animals but spiders, roaches and bees freak me out!

Great pictures! I love seeing other people's photography.

To Drifter: I have an arachnophobia also. When they get too close to me, my instincts say to get away or squish them. Thankfully the ones I photographed had never met their demise through me.

The wolf spider was in a large jar, but to get a good face shot of them I had to tip the jar towards me. So every time I tipped the jar the Wolf Spider was bolting towards my face. It took me so long to get one shot because I kept freaking out.

Ok Ok I gotta show another one I took!
