Hmm, I kinda look at that as a catch 22. Would something like a VV X2 add some confusion? Sure. Would it add to the spice of individual selection as well? Absolutely. The world of vaping is just as selective as smoking ever was (we all had our brands), probably even more so. We can all remember back to the first time we had heard about this new invention called 'The Ecig', and likewise the first time we started to do a little research...ugh! Talk about overwhelming! There were times it felt like my head would explode, and times in fact that I felt so overwhelmed I contemplated if it would even be worth it at all. More than likely, the majority of everyone on these forums at one time had also felt that way.
Remember the early days of cell phones? Good grief - they were the size of shoe boxes, with an antennae friggin three feet long! Remember cell phones from ten years ago? Five years ago? Two years ago? Imagine if you could go back five or six years ago and take with you a modern iPhone. Most people's responses would be along the lines of 'Wth is all that?! Siri what? Why do you need GPS on a phone? That's not a phone it's a friggin computer! No thanks. Too complicated for me...'. Most phones six years ago allowed you to make calls, text, browse the internet, and play rudimentary games - now they do everything but cook you breakfast in the mornings (my cell phone has faster processors than the four year old laptop I am using to write this post lol)! The same fundamentals can be said about anything techie and electrical, and the world of PV devices qualifies as that.
All in all I agree that adding a VV X2 further down the road would cause a little bit of confusion...at first. Even the most non-savvy tech-head out there could learn pretty much all there was about variable voltage and low resist and high resist cartos in virtually no time at all, and whether or not a VV device would even be for them. I have never believed that a company has to lose anything at all by simply adding a convenience, and in this case the convenience would be variety.
