I agree, the SI cartos are the best I've used.I'm still interested in trying one myself,,,,,,,but I'd buy a 4.00 510 to 808 adapter and keep using the SI cartos.

Looks like we are alone on a island 2 for everyone else against
Hi There -- I've just found this thread having posted a question about potential SI VVs. So you're not alone, I for one am interested, particularly in one another poster here has suggested. Not being an engineer, but it sounded possible to limit the high end to 4 which would allow a little boost up and down and for me that's what I'm looking for. Just to dial in a better flavor for the fruits and coffees. So not alone, and who knows as market conditions change SI might find it has enough demand.
Personally being new to vaping, I too have had my head swimming and exploring find I like the KISS model of SI for I what I've found I don't want is to make this a "hobby." I just want a stable, simple-enough, solution that works well for me. A moderate VV that maximizes the flavors I like and is user-simple enough to work in the SI product line would interest me.
Thanks all for all this great knowledge!!!
Yes it can, but it's SO much easier to just twist a knob and dial your vape in.A change in the resistance of your carto or clearomizer will provide same results as changing voltage. Ohms law. Volts=current (Amps) x resistance (ohms). Power=watts~volts x amps. When you increase voltage but nothing else you are increasing power. Same thing can be achieved on a fixed voltage device by decreasing ohms (ex. low resistance carto) or increasing amps (ex. Dual coil carto). Something to consider.

Just a note.So I'm probably going to get yelled at for this and if so I'm sorry ahead of time but SI uses KR808 threads the only VV device I have found that uses the same threads is Madvapes VV Gripper. If you wish to use SI products on VV Might I recommend that. I switched completely over to 510 Connections because 99% of Mods use 510 Connection. So personally I don't have use for my SI products because I wanted to bump more voltage but couldn't with the SI product.
I will state I still love SI and love everything about it but not having VV device I had to go elsewhere to get this. and because I had to go elsewhere I had to switch to 510 because everywhere else used 510.
Link to VV 808
Variable Volt 808 Gripper
Variable Volt 808 Gripper, Silver
Just a note.
It's one thing to talk about other things out there, but it's bad form to promote AND link to another vendor's site when posting in their own forum.

SI might consider it, but I doubt it because it goes against the KISS thing they have going on with the products they currently offer.
I just got a Provari Mini, which is 510, but I'm using my SI carto's and CE3's w/adapters and they work great. An adapter only cost a few bucks.
Yes adapters are cheap but personally and I'm a superficial person I don't like the look of a adapter. NOR do I like adapters because of there function. Some adapters are not done 100% correctly and can mess with your battery post if your not careful. I have see adapters damage PV's if there is a issue. I perfer to stay away from Adapters (again my personal Preference), And use the gear made for the device
I also use 808 to 510 adaptors without any issues. That way I can use my 808 CE3's on any battery or mod I own.I've had no problems whatsoever w/my adapters and as far as the look, you wouldn't even know they were on there, they look fine. But, of course, to each his own.
I'd return or exchange it you probably just got a bad one. I've gotten them from a couple of different sources and the only problem I've had is losing them.has anybody found an 808 to 510 carto adapter that actually works? last one i got didn't allow me to even take a drag.
