I just got mine today. Does not work on my Provari. Getting the same results as PB. It just doesnt wick at all out of the box. Going to drain the tank and drill out the holes a bit tomorrow then give it a try.
Thanks. Shame about the Provari. I hear it may work with a 510 extender, but I prefer my tanks to sit flush on my mods...

successfully converted it to a genesis , drilled a new wick hole, drill and tapped new negative terminal plugged existing holes leaving one for a fill hole. drilled a airflow hole up top. have some ideas for making a new top cap but heres a picture anyhow

That is how I would have done it, use the hole next to the neg post and use some NR wire from the pos post to the coil at the wick. Good Job! What size hole did you drill? 3mm?

My take on one right out of the box (that is after i gave it a bath and adjusted the coil to center over the air hole) as you can see i have it on a Twist vaping it next to my DID on a gripper.

After a bath i filled it by turning it up side down and pulling the tank off a bit to fill with my juice bottle, flip it back over and removed the top and gave it a few drops on the coil. After waiting a few short minutes i vaped it and the first few pulls were OK until the 4th pull i got a nasty hit and was like WTF!

so I kicked it aside and vaped on the DID a bit and went back to the Vivi tank and to my surprise it was very good and never a nasty hit, so now after vaping a complete tank full and a tank full on the DID side by side i will say it has promise and is worth buying.

I will fiddle with it after giving it some time in stock form.

Well mine came in today as well. Tested at 2.2 on the ProVari. Took it apart and washed it, soaked it in pga and rinsed it and dried it out thoroughly. Soaked the coil with pg and lit it and let it burn out a couple of times. I noticed one end coil was sticking up way off of the wick so worked it around to make sure it was touching and that all coils were evenly spaced and nothing was touching the posts or base that wasn't supposed to be touching.

Filled it and soaked the coil with juice 80/20 and let it sit for 20 minutes. Worst, stankiest vape I have ever got and it didn't get any better. Lot's of vapor but horrible taste that words can hardly describe. Did I do something wrong by heating up the wick first?

Letting it sit again and hoping against hope that it will magically start working right like hdzrtvap's did. The top is VERY hard to get back on as well without destroying the o ring. SS mesh and 34g nichrome should be in mail tomorrow or sat. Will have to try my hand at making my first wick/coil head.

thank you , and yes its very close to 3mm , i dont remember the exact size drill bits i used because alot of it was trial and error , i wanted to make the wick hole as large as possible so after drilling i used a small file to expand the hole . actually i did not use the stock neg ground connection . the wick hole and neg connection were both new locations on the opposite side where they were originally placed . the reason i did it this was due to pos pole sitting off center and to avoid having to use no reisistance wire. this way it kept the wick close and equal distances from the pos and neg connections. hope this made sense . i need to post up more pictures . im going to order more to tinker with , wish i had enough machinery that i could try to make one from scratch

doesnt work on my provari either; works fine on ego twist, got harsh hits myself. but i bought it with aspirations of a cheap genesis setup. we'll see how that pans out. if not; it wont be the first $15 ive wasted on this hobby; doubt it'll be the last.

I THINK the reason it didn't work on the provari is because of the AIR FLOW. The provari is Flat on top and no room for the air to flow thru. Thats the impression I got from the reveiw anyway, lol. With the 510 connector you have the slots for air flow.

Second day vaping this on my lava and can't really complain it does what it is supposed to relatively well. Out of the box it is a little PITA to fill, I beveled the top of the tank a bit to help protect the Oring when pushing the top on. Wonder what material the yellow clamps are that join the nr wire to the coil wire.
