@Opinionated - I was poking around Health Cabin's website looking at smaller (yet decent) kits, and found the Kanger Evod Mega Kits for just $9.99, which is a terrific price for them. They're 1900mAh batteries, with a matching 2.5mL tank, and a USB charging cable. They come with 1 or 2 of the VOCC-T coils, that are expensive, but you don't have to use only them. The only color available now is brown, but color shouldn't matter, IMO.

I use 2 of the Evod Megas when I don't want to mess with rewicking, and/or bulkier mods & tanks. Also have several people switching to vaping using them. They all love them, and the inexpensive price of the Kanger Dual Coils in the whitish colored box that also work great in them.

Upgraded KangerTech EVOD Mega 1900mAh Starter Kit with VOCC-T Coil

They also have the Kanger Dual Coils for them (in 4 different ohms) for $5.42/box of 5:

5pc replacements upgraded bottom dual coils for kangertech t3d & evod 2 & evod glass & protank-3 & mini protank-3 & aerotank & aerotank mega & aerotank mini

Thank you very much!

Opi, it's a grand idea and a marvelous gesture and an exciting adventure.

I have a feeling you might be inundated with possibilities here, but just in case you're brain hasn't yet turned to mush, I'll toss one out.

Recently, I got the Goby starter kit.

Goby Starter Kit by Innokin

I didn't even open the box for about a month, but due to the continual whining encouragement from DPL, I finally set it up. Funnily enuf, there's not much to set up. It came with it's own little 2ml (top fill) tank and a couple of coils (which are kwite good, and comp. to the CLRs), a charging cord, and that's about it. As with most Innokin products, it's very well made, and very simple.

3 clicks on/off, and a small handful of wattage adjustments, but the fact that it even HAS adjustments suited me well. The hit is surprisingly good, and reminiscent of a cig hit in some ways.

I thought, wow, what a great starter device for someone. As the fates would have it, the next day I was approached by someone who wanted to start vaping/stop smoking. I showed him the diminutive little Goby and he fell in love, too. (PS. I got him one and he is VERY happy with his new vape and experience!)

What I DIDN'T know is that I, too, would really like this tiny little thing! It's become a permanent fixture in my purse, and filled with simple non-flavored eliquid, it's the bomb, baybee. Smaller than a BIC, and weighs like NATHING, it just works, and works well.

Had I one of these when I first started vaping (versus the eGo), I may not have spent as much as I did trying everything in site.

Just some thoughts, and ummm..... opinions. ;)

(next to a JAC, it's a MINI mod!)

After looking at the Goby, it look is like a T22 and an iStick 30 got married, and the Goby was the first born child. Lol.

What changed the game for me was e-Lites and Nicolites cig-alike, who weaned me off tobacco. At time, I was dubtios if keep on vaping as the entire game proved more expensive than cigs (seven pounds, or almost ten dollars, for three cartos), and then was when I discovered that vaping was mostly an online business. The discovery began my second era in vaping, with the MVP, the vv3, the Vivi Nova and Aerotanks, the entire re-wicking business, flavours other than tobacco and cherry.
The rest is history...

My wife and I started on 160’s. They were spitting, gurgling, juice in the mouth failures. Gave them away after a week. I moved to T22 and wife to T18. Just our experience.
The 140 is the better one, I think, it has a different design in the top and mouthpiece. When the friends I was setting them up with wanted something a bit bigger...I got them T18/Picos. :)

They all use the same coil. That’s the problem. I took one apart back then. The wicking looks like a very tiny strip of White Out tape.

I already have a extended list of my Game Changing vape discoveries but I'll add another. The night I was in a drunkin stooper went to fill a cola atty but not paying attention filled it with HS desert ship and the cola flavor popped and became great. I now use HS tobacco as a base in all my other flavors that I use to vape as standalones. Game changing was being able to use the HS base with my wife's cotton candy and she been lovin it for 3+ years now.....now thats success.

WHAT piece of vape gear was a GAME CHANGER for you?

This might be a fun thread for a day or three. ;)

This isn't a poll, nor will there be any tallies. You don't even have to say WHY it was a game changer, but ya can if you'd like to.

This is all just fer fun!!!! Do feel free to post more than once.

And pictures are MORE than welcome. :D

You don't have to tag a friend, but that could be fun too!!!

(oh, you who. @DPLongo22 )

I started vaping in 2011 with cigalikes and 510 attIEs. Drip 3 drops, vape 3 drops, drip 3 drops, vape 3 drops, DRIP 3 DROPS - :grr:

(In the car, at the bar, in the dark, mamma mia whatta lark!)

Game changer for me - The Darwin, with a Kartomizer! WOO HOO!

OMG, the Ego battery. Until then we were vaping on cig alike 808D, short cartomizers with a battery that lasted 30 minutes. The second game changer was the mod on my picture, the first bottom coil clearomizer in the midst of the Vivi Novas. That's why I kept that old photo. 2012, the second wind. I can no longer remember the name of the tank!!!

Susaz, hi!

The mod in the pic...... it's an Evic, methinks. And the tank, resembling the Vivi Nova...... I think just might be the Aspire Vivi. Memory here just t'aint what it used to be, but that's my guess!

The Vapeonly BCC Mega! (gosh!). The Kanger T3 had been out for a while, but this held much more liquid. The T3 heads were giving burnt taste. It's been THAT long...

Yep. I remember you talking about that years ago. It seems like I remember you from the big T3 thread. I wish I could remember the guy's name that started it.

I liked T3s, but they really kinda sucked. The silica wicks were pitiful. Cotton wick was my game changer.

These. Both of mine were black. I found them yesterday when I started re-organizing my vape cabinet. They both came with a wall charger that screwed into the device.

Joye 510 cig-a-like.

Joy eGo. It had a much bigger battery and held more juice.
