Did they say which year?
Top cap o-rings were resized, and tolerances loosened making it easier to remove, but not loose. The airflow was refined a little, as I understand it, to reduce whistle. The deck was tweaked to make the center pin a bit more flush...Can you elaborate on these changes?
Very nice. The things I hear over in the Griffin thread make it sound like they are giving some solid customer service as well. GeekVape has been impressive lately.Top cap o-rings were resized, and tolerances loosened making it easier to remove, but not loose. Hi all, new member here.
I too have this on order, but the latest YouTube video by Suck My Mod
"Tsunami RDA by Geekvape review" (can't post a link as I'm new) has given me pause. In short, he wasn't at all impressed by the wicking citing the uncomfortably narrow distance between post and pipe.
Any opinions as other reviewers didn't mention this aspect?
Ditto what has been said before in regards to this review. I went and watched it... it was less the wicking and more his build which was W I D E L Y spaced, and thus artificially reduced space for wicking.Hi all, new member here.

tuck your tails (thinned out) into the pocket between the outer wall and the air flow, fits perfect, never got a dry hit.Hi all, new member here.

This one review is fomenting doubt about the atty despite every other review I've seen praising it. I honestly feel as if the guy didn't bother to use multiple builds in it and just filmed a review after one quick and dirty build. His comments about the raised piece between the posts messing with the juice flow make no sense. If it's raised and drops of juice hit it, wouldn't they just spill off to each side of the raised piece? Unless I'm missing something and the raised piece has some weird miniature gravitational field built in.It's not an issue. I had literally no wicking issues at all and IIRC, I didn't have a single dry hit while using it. Not sure why he had issues with wicking...
? He says in the review that the area is raised.Suck My Mod is reviewing the final (revised) version (without the raised area at the pin). What version do you guys have?
Also, if I may add: the Tsunami is intended for big big builds by the looks of it.
My issue is that his complaint makes no sense. Liquid would have to disperse to either side of the raised area. Sure, not every drop will disperse evenly but based on what I can see inside of that well there is nothing to hamper the juice from flowing to the wicks. And if you thin your tails, you should be able to run cotton from the sides of the air flow pipes to the center of the atty.Yes, but it's a tiny bit unlike the prominent raised central post from the old 'version'. There's a picture showing the difference between the two floating around (again, can post links).
