I'm just a normal shop employee here in North Texas, and I've made it a priority to tell people about these looming regulations. I'm talking all of my customers, not just regulars I see multiple times a week.

I remember one guy in particular said that I needed to stop scaring people off with all this "crazy people" talk. I told him it's this type of "crazy people" talk that can/will allow you to continue your right to vape. I will be real honest though, I shop hop a lot in the area, going to different places and know a lot of somewhat big people around this area. They really have done a poor job of alerting the general public on these looming regulations. It saddens me deeply.

I'm only 19, but started smoking when I was 16 for 2 years. I'm deathly afraid I'm going to revert back to my old smoking habit and never be able to quit as easily as I did with vaping. Like one person in this thread said, this is a time to not just worry about what is affecting YOU, but what is affecting ALL of us.

Vic was talking about the US. But from the little I know, Europe has the TPD to worry about, going into effect May 2016, with similar effect on vaping. Yes, stock up.

YES .

Ive started noticing a new trend this past month= alot of Out of stock products and "sales" on specific stuff ...

ie.imported ejuice from the US (out of stock) and some tanks/mods(sales) that they expect will not comply with TPD Regs etc.

My online vape shop told me their importers have told them that "theyre not handling US premium ejuices anymore..." and alot of other shops seem to be out of stock on the same type of products (this has been the case for a month+ and its the first time this has happened in years)

Less &less US ejuice... being replaced by more &more local French brands TPD compliant (10ml plastic bottles)

Cant say about elsewhere in Europe (you're in the UK ?) but if I were you i would hurry up and get some basic safety-stock in ;)

TPD in UK is scary. No bottles over 10ml, plain labels only, no tanks over 2ml and a bunch of idiotic requirements around consistant nic delivery, etc.

If I lived in the UK, I would definately buy a few litres of 100mg nic, a bunch of good tanks with RBAs and a few extra 18650 battery mods.

Flavour additives, PG, VG, wire, cotton and batteries will always be available, but I would absolutely stock up on the other stuff.

Worst that could happen if the laws aren't actually put into effect? You have a bit of extra HW that may not be bleeding edge in a year or two. No reason not to DIY and build your own coils anyways.

Was told today by the owner of Honest Vapor that January very well might be the last Month of my vaping enjoyment, which has been going on for 6 years now! I can't even believe that this is happening. I will be on the phone all day tomorrow, and online contacting Washington, from NY. Once again the all mighty dollar, which rules us all collectively, wins on to victory, unless we band together. Peace and love to all....Vic Vape

The end of vaping's golden age is near. The next few years will be depressing as I can't see many B&M vape shops surviving. Banding together will help us cope with this legislative catastrophe but certainly won't stop or slow it. The U.S. isn't a democracy or even a constitutional republic, it's a Corporatocracy with big business running the show and has been for a long time. Big Pharma is the #1 money spender in the nation when it comes to cash bribes (political donations), and they don't like that vaping is 10X more effective than overpriced nic patches or suicide pills (chantix), for smoking cessation. Big tobacco doesn't like the cheaper, healthier competition and state governments resent the loss of tobacco tax revenue, some very powerful enemies in a country where money and profit is all that really matters. Best idea is to plan ahead and stock up on liquid nic and select other items. They can't tax or deprive you of anything you already have on hand.

Well in UK everything is still widely available re 'super tanks' and US liquids. Also on TV it is really taking off, the big commercial vaping products brands like VYPE, VIP, BLU have ads on TV and they are starting to copy the lies of Kanger, Janty, Joytech, Aspire in making bigger more powerful tanks and PV's when before they were all about ego rip offs and cartos. They're also starting to do 50/50 premium 'gourmet' type liquids too...

I guess the regs wont effect me too much as all I really need is an ego+EVOD and a coolfire 4 and a couple of Nautilus Minis, some Hangsen RY4 at 6mg and some dessert liquid from time to time for my sub tank at 3mg..... Even if the regs meant no sub ohming, I wouldn't be bothered, really just a few evods and Nautilus Minis and a cool fire 4 are all I need and some 6mg high PG RY4 juice.....

Looks like I'll be fine I guess...?

Head in the sand attitude? Will you? What is to stop them at that point? Next step, maybe prescription perhaps?
Neither your evods or your Nautilus minis are sealed system and/or leak proof. Both would likely be in violation.

I wonder what is it about people that so many take the attitude of............Well, it won't effect me? Where is the compassion for the millions who struggled to get things this far advanced and for the hundreds of millions who's lives may be wrongfully effected in the future?

I see so much of the "I've got mine so I don't care" attitude. :( I personally am pretty well set for the rest of my life. That is one of the advantages to being older than dirt. :D but that doesn't mean I am going to lay down and just accept what the powers that be are trying to dish out. There are millions more out there that will be effected and it is for them that I try to fight.

I'm probably pretty well set, too, though I'm still stockpiling nicotine... but I'm also mad as hell at our meddling nanny gov't. And not even because of the smokers who will be sentenced to an unnecessary early death, but just on general principle of resisting fascism and overreach. If I wasn't a vaper already, I'd start, just to poke a sharp stick in their eye.

I know. I learned Thursday that my aunt and uncle finally let my intellectually disabled cousin have an e cig. She has little 650mah egos and clearos. She hasn't quit smoking yet, but is only using 12mg. I suggested 18mg. But, what is a vapor like her going to do?? She can't build or use mechs or complicated mods. She can't make juice. I live 2 hours away so can't help her day to day building, rewicking, making sure her mod is set right, etc. I can make her juice, but it won't do any good if she has nothing to vape it with :(

This is really only going to suck for new vapers, owners of B&Ms and people refusing to believe that cheap juice and mods/tanks may get hard to find. We will all miss the variety of cool juices and new mods almost daily, but few of us will have to quit vaping.

Not sounding selfish, but for $500-600, I can buy enough nic, tanks, mods and parts (o rings, replacement glass, RBAs, etc.) to last me 15-20 years and it can be done for much less. No reason not to have at least some nic and hardware saved away.

Stock up just before the $h!t hits the fan IMO.

I spent the day yesterday with my Right Wing relatives who don't smoke or Vape & never have! I explained to them about deeming & took the route about how many small busineses would be shut down (knew the vaping side wouldn't mean much). See they are self employed! They thought it was wrong for any gov't agency to have that kind of power& asked me what they could do! So I told them about H.R. 2058 & to call their congressman! They said they would! We as Vapers need to be more proactive about this! Get the word out to our friends & family even if they don't vape! Tell them about the lost jobs! They probably won't understand the Vaping side but they otta understand the economic side! Then if they're receptive explain what vaping has done for you! Fighting for vaping hasn't been working very well so lets get them to listen to what will happen to peoples jobs!

Anyone have any ideas for my disabled cousin? Stocking up would be hard for her. She gets a little money from Social Security and a part time job. And since she hasn't quit smoking (yet, if she does), she's still buying cigarettes. And I doubt my uncle will let her spend a bunch of money when she hasn't actually proven she can quit smoking.

Not sure what to advise. My Daughter has done an excellent job of fending off the urge using typical Clearo's and VV Ego Batteries. I am moving her to a Subox Nano kit for Christmas.

What about:
Heads have a decent life
1.2ohm to keep it MTL
5pk replacement (non-original) U.S. $10 shipped - China $5.23 shipped
RBA Decks - 10pk, FT w/.5ohm coils $20.78
$20.78 Replacement Rebuildable RBA Plus Coil Head for SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - 0.5ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
DIY Bodies for STM, just add RBA or Head - $7-$8
FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics

Of course she would need 2 18650's and a basic charger.

Its the not being able to get coils eventually that concerns me most. I'm fairly certain building and installing a coil is going to be a problem. She has mild cerebral palsy and very poor hand/eye coordination.

Can you use Skype or Google Hangout with her to help work through any problems?

I would suggest either a really good quality clearo that uses Aspire BVC heads. Either that or the other extreme 510 dripping atties from Vapage. They're the best quality 510 dripping atties that I've found. Can't get simpler than that.
