I don't like how the juice keeps getting darker and darker from wick contamination. The small size of the Line tank should not give it time to get contaminated
Yes, this is why I don't care so much for the really huge size tanks. I'd much rather refill a smaller one more often, and the Line looks even easier to fill than the tanks I've been using!

did everyone from the first run get their Lines yet? guess mine will come soon. maybe florida is the last stop lol congrats to everyone enjoying their line.
No cos, I haven't gotten a tracking number yet. I think Del's fingers are wearing down from writing all of the customs forms!

I now understand the video made in the bar where one of the line users was taking the top cap off occasionally, move the mesh around and vape again. For me the line works great when it does, but I don't like the fact that for what ever reason the silver wire connection is not stable. this creates inconsistency in the ohm reading and for me is not a great experience.....

is that an argument for crimping?

I don't have my burner tool yet; can we just use a lighter or gas stove just as well?

got it...
Well, the whole idea of this atie is to replace the coil easy piezie. If I am on the go and want to change the coil I don't want to have a bag with gear like pliers, a torch etc. to do that...
actually with so many gen choices today, i got this because of size and apparent first run win... it seems like the reports of best vapor best taste, ease of use etc put it in that + category.
I don't mind the crimping if it helps the vape consistency, and changing can be done at home, but i keep extra attys in my tote bag anyway.

I had that problem sometimes , but then i use dspin/Dan method , now no problem and everything works fine.
On provari use 0.15 kanthal 3/4 wraps. You get 2.5-2.7ohm.
If you dont burn your mesh the right way or if it moves around of course you wont get stable ohm reading.
Play with it , read other people experience and you will get there. Some people like me , have some problems,
but i solve them with a little help from other users. When i use 3.7v mod i had no problem. But when i start using
provari i almost throw the line and pv through the window. Now i use 0.15 kanthal and no problems for me. You have some good advices on ec.i.

Can someone just please narrow it down what to use and what to do. The video del posted is great. But if someone were to have the same problem as me with the low ohms reading then he/she has to read it somewhere. And sometimes reading doesn't solve the problem. I know i'm new to genesis but could someone please layout something. Thank you. :)

Or if you have time , do this:

Here's a translation of Stefano's instructions for preparing the Line setup:

Recommendation setup for Line, Genesis, Mesh systems.

First and foremost:
Mesh must not conduct electricity, it must be inert. It needs to be oxidized at all surfaces touching metal parts of atomizer or any part where we wrap our kanthal wire. It is best to oxidize the mesh along its entire length.
OK, this first part we are all know, more or less.

Kantal also needs to be lightly „oxidized“. After oxidation or burning with a lighter or a torch, kanthal becomes softer, more pliable and this helps to get a tighter fit to SS mesh when wrapping it. This also helps to avoid the burning taste or glowing of kanthal wire..

Dimensions of Kanthal:

For ProVari 0.15 mm
Mechanical mods of 0:20 mm

Dimensions mesh # 400 Super Fine:

For Line
24x38mm

For MiniGen
24x32mm

Wrap the mesh around the 1.2mm thick needle or a nail, so you get the mesh tube. Mesh is rolled tightly onto the needle and then properly oxidized.

In order to avoid annealing of Kantal (red glowing) on your new setup, where the lower end of the coil is,
1. tie the Kanthal to the lower electrode,
2. drill a hole in the oxidized mesh and pull the Kanthal through the drilled hole
3. Tightly wrap Kantal around the mesh, so that you get 3 wraps on one side, and 4 wraps on the other side
4. At the top of the mesh drill yet another hole through which you pull the Kanthal through and wrap the end of the the wire onto the bigger electrode

I do these steps prior to putting the mesh in the Line, because it is easier for me to wrap the coils and „sew“ the kanthal to the mesh :D Prepared like this I just attach it to the electrodes of the device.

By using this method, we reduced the possibility of Kantal glowing and burning, because it is the shortest path from the electrode to the mesh. If you fail the first time, set the electrodes so that they are distant from the mesh, max 1mm-1.5mm.

Mesh must be hard, not soft and wiggly. Kanthal must be tightened to mesh.

Between the second and third coil, drill the first hole, and between third and fourth coil, drill another hole, so that they are in cross positions against eachother. That will ensure a better flow of fluid in the coil and the flavor will be richer.

Setup prepared this way we just slide in the Line, and tie kanthal tightly around the electrodes, three times. Fill it with liquid, drop a few drops on the mesh sticking outside the line - and voila Everything works perfectly and you can enjoy your vape.

If all this fails the first time, try it several times to gain practice. It simply has to succeed. If you fail, rest a bit and try again. It is worth the pleasure afterwards

If there are any questions, I'll try to answer them, but do try it yourself a few times first.
I am already struggling with setup for 7 days and now finally I'm here and I vape like a King :D
Enjoy

Photos soon
