The SMD assembled boards are back and we are testing the first units. If all is ok we will start to deliver end of next week.

But for the final assembly and testing we will need about 200 working hours which will take some time.

Hi all,

the first boxes are out and we are in production. But for the final assembly and testing we need more than 30 minutes per box.
Therfefore it will need a time until all are out.

Here an image of the first running box:

Murphy was not on holidays and visited us again.
In our testequipment all was ok but the compiler for production had a bug.

Result:

- desolder some hundreds of processors - That was not so hard.
- resolder some hundreds of processors - That is a nightmare.

New programmed processors are here and we "just" have to assemble now.

QFN packaged microcontrollers? Or LFCSP? Either one would be a PIA... :(

Just a heads Up.... I ordered the Middle part Genisis LV and the Spare socket Genisis LV from Electra Pipes and the threading is different from the Board LV Genisis and will not fit our top cap vapor chamber. I was getting excited about delivery of the box Kronos and was going to update my LV. Hopefully I may be able to order a new top cap as well.

That is correct.
For the board project we used for Cinch atomizer a pitch of 0,5 and changed for the 510 ones to 0,75. That means that the total new constructed bottoms parts from Electra Pipes fit the board 510 but not the Cinch atomizer.

For the Kronos we use a holder for the connector which can be fitted with Cinch, 510, 801, 901. The connectors can easily be changed. Two solder points at the connector and a nut to loose it. Thats all.
As you can see on the image there are solder tags for both poles to make things easy.
