This is a prototype and the CNC model for the pressure mould!

This is just to show you that we are working on it. :)
We are still in the mould making process. That is not done in a month. We had to make new construction drawings and some samples until all was fine. A mould costs several thousand dollars and we are very carefull there.

In the sample you can see:

Bottom -battery holder with protection circuit for unprotected 18650

Middle - PCB with connector holder. Only two solder points and the connector can be changed
The PCB has a Mini-USB-Connector for extrenal charging. We deliver a charger 5V/0,5A as well. For the US with American connector.

Right Top - We have two polished brass rings. One with a diameter of 19,5 mm for large atomizer and another one with 15,5 mm.

The box is closed by magnets.

This prototype does not look fine. It is done to check all measurements and not to win a design price. :)

When the mould is ready we are able to give estimates for delivery. All other parts are here already since a long time.

Slowly we are approching our target.
But in our eyes quality is the major point.

Uwe

As a project we have done more than 1.000 Genisis. This type has been developped by Raidy and Ichbines. Both members of the German forum ERF.
Mid of our project Raidy gave a license to a British company, Electra Pipes, to come on higher volumes. As far as I know there are now, including our project, more than 5.000 Genisis delivered. Raidy has done this without commercial interest. Electra Pipes will spend to a charity named by Raidy 2,-- EUR/piece.

Electra Pipes is developping the Genisis principle and will come with totally new products in high volumes. Here as well the license fee is for a charity organsisation.

The new products will be a 15mm diameter atomizer calles Talos and a 18 mm atomizer called Genisis NV.

Our project is closed now. We are not able to produce quantities like this. :)

ok...just had a good scare...my bottle broke while screwing it in...did not over tighten, the ring (bottle neck) stayed in and the bottle came out...managed to get it out...and another bottle in place...but the inside where the bottle screws into looks rough...so be careful folks!

btw..can I still order bottles?

I will get some from germany. My buddy just has to get his .... to the post office. Had a stern conversation with him today hihi.
Might take a while debb but that clown ordered also so i should have 64 if all goes well.

That rough you see is glue. You can scrape that out and reglue or just juse without glue. I reglued mine but it works either way.

Thanks for the info, thats what I've been waiting to see. Was the LV originally suposed to be reccessed inside the Kronos? Thats how I had it pictured in my head but its been a while since the start, I'm probably just remembering wrong.

That's encouraging news Uwe. Hopefully my batteries will soon have a home!

Can you tell us a bit more about these Projekt batteries, or give a link to a thread?
I have looked on your forum, but it's difficult to search with Google Translate!

They are marked Li (NiMnCo) - Is this a similar chemistry to the Panasonic CGR18650CH

Thanks

With the juice I use(DIY rum mocha) I have to rinse with hot tap water and dry burn every 3 days or so. I think I've rolled a couple of wicks so about a month or so a wick. I've lost track of how many coils. The reasons I replaced the wicks is they get a slot burned into them and break off but they last quite a while.

Ron, is that your new puppy? Cute.

once you run it under hot water, does it have to be oxidized again?

I do not do that debb. I just add some pg and thats it.
I oxidize again when I change the wire though. But just the area where the kanthal goes.

upps that was a question for Robert T. sorry guys did not pay attention.
