Yeah , but it was still a Yamaha , rice burner , piece of junk . Still nothing like a Harley , and never will be . Stick that in your pipe , and vape it .

Well, we don't want to hijack this thread with a grudge match between HD and Yamaha...but I'll just say this...ride one and then we'll talk. I've ridden both...I honestly prefer American made, so if I were to buy another scooter, I'd likely go with a Victory...but riding a HD is OK if you want your teeth to rattle out of your head while everything on the bikes falls off due to the excessive vibration and shaking...other than that it's kinda like riding a powerless marshmallow...with a pan of cat litter under it to catch all the oil that it's leaking...sorry man...not a Hardly fan at all...you can have 'em...wouldn't give you a plug nickel for one. Just my opinion. All due respect and no hard feelings man!

i personally think this thread derailment is an improvement and give it my endorsement.

by the way Carpedebass, thanks to you, now everytime i see a thread with someone complaining about some possible vape related ailment i can't help but laugh.

also, my first bass guitar was a yamaha jazz bass...
that thing never failed me

Harley should make basses so i can compare.

I actually agree with him about the tank mods. 70% of people have problems with them and they're still selling like hot cakes and there are nothing but posts from new people that need help with them. And the suppliers are actually selling caps so they don't leak! They should be given to everyone that bought them for free.

I'd love to see a poll of how many people are still using them 6 months later.

Traffic meters are highly inaccurate because they depend on a sampling of people who have volunteered for their surfing to be monitored. It's not quite meaningless, but not meaningful either if you get my drift.

I have had excellent service from vendors and have had a very good overall experience with vaping gear. Sure, there are people out there who take advantage of the fact that fools and their money are soon parted; but overall the industry is full of good folks who have treated me right.

I don't do motorcycles, but think guys who ride them are sexy. Just don't ask me to get on back! LOL

I'm sure glad I didn't go that route now that you've mentioned it...even though I do own two eGo-Ts so I guess technically that is a tank...but no issues at all yet.

I'm talking about the ego-T's. Not every single person that buys one has an issue but enough do that some they need some sort of redesign. Instead of acknowledging that, they keep getting sold only with little extras and updates you have to pay for. When I bought mine, they actually had a warranty (that I used). I've noticed that suppliers don't even offer the warranty anymore. But the price sure hasn't gone down.

Even good suppliers I've bought from in the past really turn me off with this whole ego-t thing. They keep churning them out and people keep posting here with issues. The only advice you can give half the people on the internet is to get cartos.

Oh...wow...guess I didn't do very well buying the infamous eGo huh? Oh well, at least I have my spark plugs.

You have no idea how quickly the ecig products are moving along.

This is a fast developing field, considering almost everything is being designed or refined by the user community.

The innovation has become exponential.

Bladerunner, great post !

I would like to add that in the 3+ years I have been vaping, I have seen these devices evolve so much that I am amazed. I am one of those who started with the mini's off ebay with the "50 free cartridges".... carts that were the size of a bb, and were horrible, battery life was about 15 seconds.... was a mess.

Then I found this forum oh so long ago and my adventure began, I am analog free for over 2.5 years and have never looked back.

I have dealt with many vendors here for various products, and have never had issues that were not immediately resolved, and very few of those. Fast shipping, good quality, and devoted to customer service, that is the experience I have had.

I serve my clients in the same way, so I appreciate the extra effort of the majority of the forum suppliers and never order from one not listed on the forum.

While I personally do not need nor desire the VV, or tank mods, or bottom feeders, etc., I know that those who constanting are pushing the bar higher are the ones who make this technology improve every day, so carry on....

Research is the key when buying from any vendor, and there are so many wonderful folks on this forum who are willing and able to answer questions and give advice, but in the end, it is the buyer who must make those choices.

Good luck to everyone in their search for their own perfect vape.

Most of the time the problems are not with the product, it with the person using them. Its pretty easy to switch to good products if you take some time and research it, and if you have a question you ask. I switched like 3 weeks ago, my first 'ecig' was the Reo Grand. Works perfectly and its probably the best bottom feeder out there.

edit: wut?

Really ? You obviously haven't ridden one , in say , at least 10 years , they don't rattle your teeth , I have over 30,000 miles on mine , and still no oil leaks to be found . And your right about not hijacking the thread. But that's the only thing , you got right .

A Harley can haul 30,000 mules? It's clearly the winner in this pee pee match then LOL.

I'm a Suzuki guy. If there were an American dirt bike I might give it a shot.....wife won't let me have a street bike LOL. I don't get that. I can go jump 20 feet in the air out in the woods between trees. Miles from help. But no street bike....go figure. Oh well, my pals have all sold theirs anyhow. But a word on rice burners real quick......they work lol. Year after year after year. That's gotta speak for something. I like the way Harley's look. Especially the older ones. But there are some mighty fine looking Honda\Yam\Suzuki rides out there as well.

Carry on .....;)
