im currently using an aromamizer that i modded for bottomfeeding with dual 1.5mm 28ga coils at .5 ohms and 30 watts. its currently my favorite rda, great flavor, acceptable airflow (a little tighter than im used to but still get good lung hits) and pretty decent clouds. also almost virtually impossible to overfill/cause leak unless done intentionally.

so i just recently noticed a weird, possible oversight in design. the back area of the chip next to the battery housing-its actually just foam. you could probably take a thin piece of plastic and glue something in place but still kind of weird, like they forgot to add proper backing to it.

Is that the chip board exposed ? If that bottle leaks. BOOM !!!!

only if you pull back the foam piece, i actually didnt notice it til i touched it with my hand when changing out the battery. i pulled it back to see if there was a plastic backing to it, and was kind of surprised there wasn't.

Damn.. I wonder if epoxy could be used to seal the board ???

an idea i had was to just pop the plastic window off the box that comes with the rda and trim it to size, then slide it over the exposed foam area and glue it in place/seal it up that way, but i'll wait for people more skilled modding than me to see what things people can come up with lol.

It's a Chinese mod!!! Why would you be surprised? I'm surprised they even turn on!!!!!! This thing has failure written all over it, but at that price point they will sell a ton of them. I would guess they are already working on the V2 already if history has shown us anything at all!!!:2c:

I couldn't agree more! A regulated BF'er is a beautiful thing, But this isn't IT!

It's not exactly rocket science.. If the feed system is good, and any potential leaks to the board are addressed, this could be a nice, budget, regulated squonker IMO.. :) I do agree there will more than likely be a rev2 on the horizon to make it even better, but such is the affliction of early adopteritus for us who ordered rev1.. ;)

Just received mine in the mail. Lots of QC issues. In addition to what's listed in previous posts. There are ribbons inside one on the bottle side for pulling the bottle and one on the battery side for pulling the battery. The bottle side ribbon could wrap around the bottle one and a half times. The battery side ribbon is only long enough to fit under the battery half way. Dumb!

Edges around the box very sharp. It is uncomfortable in the hand, especially the corners. The corners dig into your palm with hardly any pressure at all. If there is a V2 all sides and edges REALLY need to be smoothed out.

I don't have tools or time to build out the atty at work will have to wait to do it tonight. But I took a derringer off one of my DNA 30's just to try it out. There is a noticeable difference between using the Derringer on the DNA30 at 16 Watts an using it on the Geyscano at 16 watts. I had to turn the Squonker up to 19 to get a similar feeling vape.

None of these are deal breakers. For the money this is an entry level regulated box for Squonking. It is what it is. I will use it to see how much I like Squonking regulated to taste rather than paying attention to the screen. If I love it I will move on to a better device.

@unsure, how does it feel in your hand? It just looks to be very wide. I keep thinking it would be uncomfortable to hold.

It is wide and the corners feel sharp if you know what I mean. Not comfortable to hold like a Peko, Dibi or Woodvil. Btw slightly wider than the Woodvil.

Maybe I was lucky but I didn't have any of those issues though my opinion of it in general is about the same as yours. As you said it is what it is and I have paid more for worse Im ashamed to say. :( If this doesn't end well over time it would be a very cheap lesson.

Just received mine, Angel was very fast.

Definitely wider then what I'm used to. The edges didn't bother me. It does take some getting used to having the button on the side.
I found myself squeezing the button by accident.

I put my Reomizer 2 on it and fit perfectly, also used my old bottle from my Bogger Box and though the tube looked bigger
no leakage. I' think the internal metal tube to the RBA is a little wider then the Reo

Can't understand what others were saying about chemical smell. I didn't encounter any chemically smells

Performance wise this is not a APV for Sub Ohm Vaping at least at 50 Watts. With a fresh battery .24Ohm and a Reomizer 2 it was outputting about 3.10 Volts.
3.5 on the screen but 3.10 on my Voltage tester under load. I'm going to play around a little more and see if the issue is with the battery.

So I only got around 40 watts.

My next step is to build a .6 or greater Ohm RBA and expect better results, that it will push out the whole 50 Watts. Sub Ohm is very unforgiving and you do lose voltage.

Yes it is wider then my Reo Grande LP but I was expecting that they have to add extra room to house the chip on the side. Fit and Finish seemed fine. Everything snaps together well. My only concern is as mentioned previously on the other side of the battery which has a divider there is open space to see the electronics and I'm trying to decide if painting it all with Electrical Tape will protect it and not damage anything. Since the button is not mechanical I suspect I can do that. But would appreciate advise from those more technical then me.

All in all for $80.00, if it holds up. And if at .6Ohms it comes close to the 50 Watts, it's a great deal. The big if is if it holds up. Sigh...

I"ve noticed that sometimes the first draw is cold but that went away.[I think]
Oh the controls are brain dead easy. No menus. Just Up Down Button and Fire button.
By accident putting in my pocket I did accidentally move it from 50 Watts to 5.

Thoughtfully they have a progressive wattage switch. The longer you push the up or down button the faster it switches. And it will go both down and up.
For example when I mistakenly moved it to 5 watts I just did one press of the down button and it went to 50 watts. That could be a drawback if I were a 5 watt vaper and it mistakenly went to 50 Watts!

My satisfaction level is going to be determined with a Ducal Coil .6ohm or even a dual Coil 1 Ohm. At .24 Ohm it just wasn't a hot enough vape for me.

that was me lol. the early one i got was from the yiloong directly-and apparently it must have just been mine since another friend who got it from them as well didnt have that issue either. the one from angelcigs i ordered for a friend seem to be free of that issue as well. i'd still clean it though, smell or not.

This was my only real issue I had that it was not fast for me. My order Your Order #2015032315512019 (placed on March 23, 2015 8:56:48 AM PDT) and received it 4/2. This pic shows 0 in stock but read 9 when I placed my order. Im thinking someone was late updating it when I was ordering.
