To keep the look you would have to round the stealth caps. Also the bottom holes are vital for the took.

I cant make bottom venting holes, its not the right way fright. My idea is to make something like this but with the new GGTS venting cap and different lengths for engraved tube, telescope and extension, so it will close with the batteries I mentioned before

You could make one like that - but GG veterans and collectors - still want one like in the picture.

I dont particularly want a bottom tube any longer than you make them now. All the GGTS I own can already take any battery configuration and the brass TS I have with 4 in 1 cap can do whatever I need it to do. I really dont care if it closes and if you were to make one that did - tapping of bottom tube would have to be perfect - else thread marks would be ground into the telescope.

I agree fright, Vent holes - no matter where they are will save you from a battery that goes into true thermal runaway. Best thing then is to throw it as far as you can. Its a matter of a few seconds as the tube heats up.

On another note - I dont even use a fuse upgrade anymore - just bare post. Dont like the SS screw in the fuse.

im trusting your judgement imeo, but shouldnt the electric angel be considered its own device instead of a copy? the only thing the two share is that they are telescoping and they have a high price tag. if you were to consider every telescoping mod a knockoff you would have quite a long list lol.

I agree. While I see why side holes are better in general, for nostalgic purposes the 3 bottom holes and the grooves (instead of knurling) in the locking ring are iconic for this picture/version. This picture has been one of my favorite GG pictures for years and I would love to own one. However if you remove those 2 key look points I can make a similar setup already but isn't quite the same.

Also as for the safety of the hole placement I think many would feel the battery heating before they put it close to their face.

As for the fuse/spring I am with you D. I missed out on the all brass fuse kit so I use a refulat brass post with no spring. I am careful to test my coils before first time use. And if I feel the mod heating up I check everything out before continuing to vape.
