Bills paid and I am broke... best get back to work.

Bella I am so sorry that that happened again..........I can't believe they can't stop this from happening....with all the info put out there by us or other places that we don't want out there....there needs to be some way to make this stop....I was watching something the other day about medical info being online that we as consumers may or may not know about....that anyone can steal.....well it's not fair......

Sadly, life is not fair. But that's life. So what are we going to do about the things we might be able to change? Can we educate the public? Probably. Does that include congress? You might educate them, but they all (both sides) have already been bought and paid for, and only threats to their continued income (I.e., vote them out) will change anything.

Well as I was watching a program to protect your credit cards....I learned that there are many apps to use to steal info off of other people's cards....so they are almost telling me how to do it.....and how easy it would be....that's disgusting.......and yet even if I bought one of these card protectors...I still have to take the card out to use it with the cashier so it's dumb to waste money on them if the thief was hanging around the cashier.....
Well anyway...that's the problem they need to fix....I wish I could come up with a solution to make this stop.....
I am off to the store shortly...need some things for the weekend.......so have a good day everyone...I will check back in later on.......

@bellastar just went through that myself. Didn't have to wait for a new card though... bank has a card machine in every branch...

Yeah, when my bank card was hit the other week, I just went up to my bank and was issued another card on the spot. Only had to wait a week to get the $ put back into my acct.

This time it was one of my credit cards that got hit, so the $ was instantly refunded, but I've got to wait for a new card. I'm very glad that it was my credit card that got hit this time, I'd have died if I woke up to $300+ missing out of my checking acct. It's bill time, I need all the money I can get.

I'm sad though because I was going to do some vape shopping this weekend, but now I just don't want to. I have a feeling after my husband finds out about this one, he's going to tell me no more ordering period.

The problem is that those who recognize this fact rarely run for office--and, when they do, face an uphill battle in fundraising and endorsements from the entrenched powers that be. And the ones that can shrug off the pressure because they are independently wealthy and/or can make enough noise to remain in the public consciousness are usually buffoons or pushing their own warped ideas. Thus, the morally disenfranchised remain apathetic to politics, leaving it firmly in the hands of bought-and-paid for variety.

And with that heavy thought, I'm off to my friend's house...

Bella, that bites about the credit card, but at least they alerted you to it and you got it taken care of...that's precisely why I quit using my bank card online...after they tried to take me for that $1100 a few weeks ago, I've vowed to never use it online again.
