Yep, the National Film Board of Canada had a great string of animated shorts back in the 80's. I used to attend an annual animation festival and saw quite a few of them. I showed this one to my kids about a year ago and they loved it.

Alright you two! I can see you 2 would be nothing but a baaaad influence on me at 9am in the morn! Last time I got snockered before 11am...was in Corpus Christie TX in my 20's...the bartender was using us for guinea pigs...trying out shot drinks I'd never even heard of...I was even more naive back then ....he prob made them up as he went along...Day was feelin pretty good till we went to get in the car and I ended up slamming the car door shut on my friend's hand ) ...who was driving btw.... ....yes...spank me...it was the '80's ..and we lived to tell about it.
So just so's ya know drinking before noon with me can be hazardous for others ....tho I refuse to drink and drive anymore

Just be grateful that alcohol doesn't have the same unfortunate side effect on you Katz that it does on me (which my husband finds extremely fortunate.. lol) I have to be very careful indeed where I am at when I go to have a glass of any alcoholic beverage, because on top of that I have no tolerance.. lol

@jpbavaro - They are just so so so precious! Tell them we said good morn'nite to them too! (I am sure the will understand perfectly!) It is so cute as in that pic it looks like they are holding hands!

Top o' the mornin' to ya, TreeFam! (OK, the clock just ticked past noon, but it's first thing on the computer for me so it's still morning)

Near our campsite on the east side of Mt. Shasta. A friend took a photo from this spot with nine UFOs in it. I examined her photo, blew it up, and showed her it was a flock of geese. Some people only see what they want to see.

Yes it's still morning for me..........almost noon though....I have been up for awhile now and that idiot is finally done....I swear he enjoys torturing others......2 hours to do a little patch of grass....and the gas fumes that come from that machine are enough to knock me out....not to mention the noise....I wish the city would make a ban on them.....

Hello Treefam! Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday! Today is my twin's 21st birthday! Who the heck gave them permission to get older?!

Count, that really bites about your mail. I had that happen a few months ago...turned out my idiot, lazy mailperson (you know, the one who refuses to come to my door when there's a package that requires signature ) had just scanned it as delivered and hadn't even made their run yet...it ended up getting delivered the next day...USPS seems to be actively going out of their way to hire idiots these days!

@jpbavaro - What adorable babies! They are just so cute! ...That right there is the best substance!

@Opinionated - Sending healing vibes for you...hope some rest will help.

I know exactly how you feel about mail last week I complained about our mailman and Saturday he did it again I'd there is signature required he leaves the lil card in the mailbox even though I'm home everyday it drives me nuts

I'm sure glad I don't have all the USPS problems most of you city folks have... <like, wow, dude!>

Went hiking up another mountain... well, it's called Cache Mountain, but it really is an ancient lava butte that got sufficiently covered by dirt that trees could grow all over it (USGS says the peak elevation must be at least 9,000 feet to be officially called a mountain). In any case, from the top of Cache [almost a] Mountain, this is a different view of Three-Fingered Jack, which really is a mountain, but isn't so called. Go figure...

I've finished the majority of cleaning and organized a metal shelving unit. Now, I have one whole shelf; 2ft x 4ft, just for vape supplies!

My back hurts. Time for me to return to sluglandia!

Time to get out from in front of the computer and go do outside work. It's cool again (thank gawd), but quite windy. Oh well... trade one for the other....

Still scoping around from the top of Cache Mountain, the USGS map tells me that lava lump over there is called Sand Mountain. Wonder how long it would take me to climb up that one...

Busy Labor Day.... Got the front yard cut (and cut the neighbor's front yard) Too hot and she has too many soggy spots for me to finish the trim work (too many times the rider got stuck in the muck.)

Cleaned the grill (that's another one of those "that sounds like fun" projects that turns into a "what the heck was I thinking????") Other neighbor (Uncle Kermit) came over and dropped a new circuit so my fridge/microwave/window air unit stops blowing a breaker.... Just a little too much current draw for that one little breaker....

Rewicked my Velocities today. Sitting down now for a nice vape and some cool inside temps. Chili cheese dogs are on the menu this evening
