Hey everyone! I am all set up in bed for a fun day of television watching and internet carousing, and photoshop playtime! hahaha.. All my pillows are piled all around and I am as comfy as I can possibly get!

I will be taking @rangerrobin 's advice on some movies - thank you for watching them first! hahaha

@angelphyre - I never thought about my getting presents for my kid's birthday's! hahaha.. sounds good to me! We did go through an awful lot of pain bringing them into this world!

As for babysitting, at least they moved in with you, when my daughter was in financial distress she thought it would be better to call me up and ask me to go half way across the country to pick up my granddaughter and raise her until my daughters financial woes were over - I begged her to just come home and she was having none of it. I ended up raising my granddaughter. I was 39, ready to embark on my own new adventures and enjoy not having kids at home, and ended up with an infant for two years.

So count your blessings!

@DingerCPA I will most certainly keep your friends in my prayers. Cancer is hard, I lost both my daughter and my father to cancer, it is a very difficult fight to say the least, and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.


@tiggerrts - how did those chicken breasts come out? I usually try to avoid boneless skinless due to how dry they end up being, so I am curious how that worked out as far as moistness..

Made it on time, Wifey was awake this morning so I had to take some extra time with her. We opened a hour earlier than normal but no one told the customers, we should be getting busy here in a few. Hopefully!

Morningnight TreeFam!

Gonna be another scorcher today I've never dealt well with heat and humidity, and it seems to be worse as I've gotten older

But, still some chores to be done - finish cutting grass, cleaning the grill, cooking on the grill....

Oh my, there might be an unusual cold-front coming through.... I have the cat on one side of me, sitting on the arm of the sofa. Big Dumb Dog just hopped up on the other side of me in "her" spot. Cat giving Dog the "die, you gravy-sucking pig" look. I'm thinking Hades might freeze over

Great Monday Labor Day Mornin Everybody!
Glad to see many of you got in some waves, took some time for yourselves, chilled, rebuilt, cleaned ..and some of you celebrated Labor Day Laboring even Well..it to those of you that we raise our beer today...well..it's only 9am here..but later we will...
I have a young friend I tutored when she was 8 who BTW was born on Labor Day...she was always fascinated that.. at the time..I was more than FIVE times OLDER than her *shaking head*..kids sure have a way of making you feel ancient
Ah..but the twist is, I am getting younger every year...Now I am only 2.52173 times her age
So instead of Happy Mother's Day...I should be wishing HER ma a happy Labor Day

But it was still good to get out in the water again. A good surf session until past sunset, a stop for some good hole-in-the-wall Mexican, and then home to a shower an plopping on the couch. Ahhh!

In fact, that's what I'll be doing next weekend.

I've been a good slug the last two days, so I decided it was high time to get my place in order, since I have friends coming to stay next weekend. I really should have done that in reverse.

I'm laboring on labor day, but this week is only a 3 day work week for me! After I finish cleaning, I will return to Sluglandia.

Sincerely hoping this guy in my local fb vape group will let me borrow/rent his clouper 30w for my hubby. His 30w istick started autofiring and now just says atomizer short. Just need something to hold him off until the smok x cube that I won comes in, then he'll either get that or my mvp 3.0. Spent the last of our vape budget on juice on thursday. Lmao. Ah well.

Anywho, my back has decided it's gonna get worse before it gets better. Heating pad and ibuprofen, here I come! Hope everyone is having a fantabulous day!

Alright you two! I can see you 2 would be nothing but a baaaad influence on me at 9am in the morn! Last time I got snockered before 11am...was in Corpus Christie TX in my 20's...the bartender was using us for guinea pigs...trying out shot drinks I'd never even heard of...I was even more naive back then ....he prob made them up as he went along...Day was feelin pretty good till we went to get in the car and I ended up slamming the car door shut on my friend's hand ) ...who was driving btw.... ....yes...spank me...it was the '80's ..and we lived to tell about it.
So just so's ya know drinking before noon with me can be hazardous for others ....tho I refuse to drink and drive anymore
