My one lonesome tomato( that survived several of my attempts to kill it) haz produced no fruit yet...did I need 2 for that?? Oh how I miss those red ripe juicy sun drenched tomatoes of my youth!
We planted about 30 plants (started from seeds in the garage - I made a table with lights for starting stuff) but got them in the garden a bit late this year, so they're just getting ripe now. Using used cattle mineral tubs to keep them off the ground so the rabbits don't eat them all. I picked a dozen this morning, but probably be 50 more tomorrow. Canning will be starting soon... :)
Sorry bud, elevate, wrap, ice and rest.
Haven't got the time for that, unfortunately. Got a leaky kitchen sink drain and I have to crawl under and fix that, then stand in the shop for a few hours and cut limbs into kindling... no rest for the... um, what did Angel say? ... weary! Yeah, that's the ticket. I'll just hobble slowly instead of lying down.

Bandit, the flying milk cow... that was when she was young. Today, she looks like a beach ball standing on four toothpicks. She should be having her baby any day now.

You hit that nail squarely on the head! There's a zillion things to do and no time for laying around. Well, I guess I'll be lying down while my head is under the sink, which I better go do before Lannie starts washing something. Toddling off now. Catch y'all later....

Congrats on 11 months @rangerrobin!

Home from work and cooking burgers on the grill.

Fuzzy I hope the ankle feels better, I don't have work load you do but I also know how it feels not being able to stop.

I don't remember what else.

So thinking back on last nights conversation, what is my lesson?
What, if anything, seemed to resonate with you? Did any of the things said trip your trigger, even a little? If so, maybe you should think on those points and ask yourself what you choose to do about them.
take care of that ankle fuzzy
Thanks for the concern. It is still attached to my leg and that means it can still be used. Slowly, maybe, but still usable.
when can I move on? So tired of this.
You will "move on" as soon as you choose to leave the past behind you and look to the future. Never let "tomorrow" be a repeat of "today." Let go of the pain. Let go of the anger. Let go of the frustration. Put them all behind you and walk into the sunlight without yesterday's baggage dragging you down. Tigger is a person who is capable of standing tall, knowing he can do whatever he chooses to do. Do not let that choice be a repeat of yesterday's anguish.
Fuzzy I hope the ankle feels better, I don't have work load you do but I also know how it feels not being able to stop.
Thank you JPF. My workload, perhaps, would not be so heavy to someone 30 years old. The calendar says I am 66 (and one half :) -- ever notice how little children and oldt pharts always tell their age in something greater than simple years?) but my mind will never leave 30, so I expect myself to do that which I did 36 years ago. I do not decrease my workload expectations just because of age. Things need to be done and I am the only one here to do them. I am sure you (and many others) could have done my work in half the time I did, but the point is, I did do it. So, hey up there, Tigger... is this the lesson you are looking for? If you think you can or if you think you can't, you are absolutely right.

Almost forgot...today is my 11 month quitversary! :D
Congrat, Robin!

My ankles were spared the fate of Fuzzy's (hope yours feels better--and the sooner you get ice on it, the sooner it will feel better) during practice today... Tummy is full, son is abed (daughter is being quizzed by Mom for her Geography test tomorrow), and I've begun to yawn. Good night, Treefam!

G'Night /Mornin Tree Fam
@Fuzzy Thunderbear...Get some good sleep..it's about the only thing we can wish for ya..since you gotta hobble 'round on that bad ankle all the same. My Mom was pretty stoic when it came to injuries, ..If you still had two good arms and stumps for legs..and you could drag yourself to your destination,...you were fine.

@tiggerrts Hope you get some good dreamless sleep tonight. Tomorrow is another day; and I hope it will hold nice surprises for you.
G'night tree folks

@rangerrobin . . . Congrats . . . :thumbs:

oldt pharts always tell their age in something greater than simple years?

Well - Although most people do not get it right away - when asked this "Old Phart" usually tells people that he is "LIVING" his 62 year - not how old he supposedly is . . . HEY - I have survived this long - I'm taking credit for every day I am "LIVING" . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

For "Everyone" In NEED . . .

"GOOD VIBES" & "Healing Thoughts"

Way too busy today - was out of the office for over 3 hours for a meeting that I had to head to only an hour after getting in. That wasn't enough time to start on anything so half the day was shot. Then spent time trying to catch up and might have finally done it on the work side of things - have to check again. Another hour and I'll be getting things shut down for the week.

jpf - great the wifey is back home.
