Fuzzy looks just like a cat we had and we called him tigger. He had more than nine lives though and cost us a lot of money. Broken leg, brown recluse bite...

Yeah, lots of us tend to name Tiger-striped cats Tigger. This one, when he was a baby, bounced around like the cartoon Tigger. Don't usually have vet bills (other than spay and neuter) on cats because they either play it safe and live to 15 years or so, or they get picked off by an eagle or redtail hawk for being too slow. Twinkie, the tortoise-shell that was partially visible in that photo thinks she is a puppy and follows me just about everywhere. A couple days ago, her daughter, Xena (yes, Warrior Princess), who is just over a year old, followed Lannie and me all over the cow pasture while we were searching for the calf. We walked about a mile and baby Xena kept pace with us the whole time. All of our cats are amazing little people.

Fuzzy that is awesome about the new mod! ECF is full of really generous people!

Sure is! I just wish whoever bought that would fess up. I have an ace up my sleeve, however. If s/he doesn't admit it soon, I'm going to call the dealer and ask who the "BILL TO" was on the invoice they failed to include in the package. I love that someone cared enough to buy this for me, but I honestly want to be able to say "thank you" other than making vague gestures on various threads.

Honestly, I do understand this. But I have a MAJOR FAILING in life. I can give freely and with no attachment, but I have never been able to receive without questioning. That sometimes works against me because, even here on the farm, ALL the animals come first to me. They eat before I eat. They are cared for before I will take the time to care for self. If money needs to be spent on the animals, that comes out of what would have been spent on me. They need more food? I shall eat less if the budget will not accommodate both. Because I have been granted custodianship over this small plot of land and those who live upon it, it is my duty to take care of all before I take care of me. I take that right to the ground we walk upon. The grass needs cut, the trees need pruned... ... ...
