The wind is howling like a Banshee outside, but it is still relatively warm, so I have to go chainsaw another truckload of firewood. Probably won't be back on here until late tonight. Everyone have a great day!

Honest, it is a real sign.

Spent the day driving all over, running errands and testing out the new car.

Once we got home, I started tinkering with coils. A dual 3-strand SS430 braid came in at 0.09 Ohms. Since it was SS, it would run in TC mode, but the braid didn't allow for precise control...

Built a second set of coils was a twisted SS430 paralleled with 26 gauge kanthal. .22 Ohms and kickin'

@Amlowe & @101airborn Welcome to the best thread on the net!

@BamaBabe4Ever hope you feel better soon! We just moved a few months ago and Wifey fell off the back of the moving truck (she had no business being there but had to make sure we were doing it right) and broke her foot so we know right where your at.

:tumble:
Ouch. Is she doing good with it? And yes Welcome @101airborn. I think i welcomed you the other day @Amlowe. If Not Welcome. I am fairly new on this thread myself ;)

Good morning, everyone.

Welcome, @101airborn !

@BamaBabe4Ever, it is amazing how fragile that foot bone really is. Several years ago, my wife stepped on the edge of a walking path while we were at a Safari park. All she did was seem to stumble... but a day later (after she walked about a mile on it to climb to the top of the canyon to leave the park, walked around on it at home, and finally drove herself to the hospital--my wife is quite stubborn), she found that it was indeed a broken foot. Took about six weeks to heal, I think.... Did you get a boot?

Thanks Count. She kinda sounds like me. i thought I had just bruised it until about 2hrs later when the pain just kept getting worse and worse. So drove myself to Hosp. Good thing I didn't break my driving foot lol.

Thanks also for all the well wishes Everyone. They did put a boot on it

I am the one usually doing most everything around here. so it was really weird today not getting up much. Mom cooked supper and my brother cleaned the kitchen for me :banana: Pain Meds have helped alot, and doing the ice thing every couple of hours

Would Love to take a walk through something like this

At least you have the pain meds and family around to help out. Sending out some healing wishes! ;)
