Nice analogy, Tiggs. I wish I could play stringed instruments as well as either of those guys, and maybe one day you and I can collaborate.

Well in the past week here in South Florida, "We" have had reports on the local news about 2 different explosions of "E-Cig's . . . One was a Mech mod and the other a K Box (that was sent back twice to be repaired) and both using rba's . . . The Mech mod blew up in the guy's face (BTW: was placed into a medically induced coma) and the K box exploded in the guys pocket . . . I've checked online and now see that this story has gone National too (The e-cig blowing up in the guys face was reported on the Major Stations News and it is in the newspapers across the country) . . . I actually meet the guy who had the Mech Mod blowup in his face at a local vape meet months ago. AND - He was part of a group that are very young and "Cloud Chaser's" looking for bigger and better vape experiences by using high power lithium ion batteries and vaping very low ohm coils . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Betting something was damaged prior to the incidents or was fired for too long at one shot. These reports never state the investigation findings or exactly what was being done with the device.

Yesterday, Japanese TV showed a laptop that had burned - guy was using it in bed. Laptops heat up and need airflow - this one didn't that. Not the first laptop or cell phone I've heard about going boom or up in flames but nobody is trying to ban those - why not? It's the same basic battery tech.
Most of it comes back to the user in my book.

Thunder and lightning woke me up, we got a line of T-storms rolling through. A lotta heavy rain and lightning right now, weather folk are saying it should move through fairly quickly. There were quite a few communities and towns around us that sustained some heavy damage yesterday from wind and tornadoes.

My picture below isn't a tree, obviously, but of one of my favorite kitties who has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. The lady across the street keeps out antifreeze and we think it got into some of it. I really miss this baby. She's been gone 3 years now.
