I WANTS one of those Bobcats!!
That one is a 1984 version, including all its idiosyncrasies (doesn't want to start when it's below freezing, etc.) and still cost me $5,000. New ones cost about as much as my house.
I may be pm'ing you after I go to the range on my day off Monday. It was such a unexpected surprise.
I will help in any way I can. Obviously, it would be easier if we could get together in person so I can show you the proper stance, breath control, etc., but we'll do what we can via PM. Maybe I can mail you some literature...
they put in one clear non-prescription lens in her glasses for her "fixed" eye..
Odd how my "fixed" eye is now legally blind... They did all the measurements and testing, etc., before my cataract surgery, then after the new lens was in place, I couldn't see squat. Testing over the next few months showed my sight in that eye to be 20/200 and with glasses, only corrected to 20/80. They (the VA) screwed up big time and they can't (or won't) do anything about it. Jeez, GMO, I hope you fare much better.
Then one day they can just pop in a brand new spine that fits you perfectly
Mr. Data from Star Crock is what I'd like. Just take this brain and put it in an android body. My spine is so screwed that they tell me it cannot be fixed, so I guess I'll just live with it. And it was not all from falling off that cliff... (pay attention, younglings)... but a great deal of it was from lifting very heavy objects improperly. Young people are convinced they are invulnerable; WRONG! Sooner or later, we all get older and have to live with the mistakes of our youth.

Whenever I'm feeling down a cardinal always manages to show up in my sight.
When I am bothered and pondering possible solutions, the one I am thinking about at the time will be correct when I find a piece of quartz at my feet. So far it has worked every time. I suspect that whatever trigger we implant in our subconscious minds is the one our conscious minds will find a way to act upon.
Can you find the iguana in the tree?

Did soccer practice, passed my daughter off to my wife for ballet, made dinner for myself and my son, and then had to watch him do his homework the hard way--he learned a short-cut in multiplying large numbers today and showed me how it was done (that was part of his assignment--I already knew the trick) but chose not to use the short-cut in doing his homework. Just like his sister, I guess.

I see a long tail!! :D
I am enjoying all the nice pics on the thread today/tonight:)
@Fuzzy Thunderbear I hate to imagine what either of us would look like if we were cars (or trucks:rolleyes:)
My first car was a used high mileage boxy Mazda that I bought from a colleague for $1600...it ran crosscountry a coupla times ...then one day a young lady came over a blind hill in MY lane...Instead of a head on collision, I managed to let her only side swipe the entire left side front to back of my car..couldn't even get my drivers door open. And we ended up in the ditch! But I was able to drive us out...US meaning I had my Ma with me  ) Luckily no one was hurt ..but it is amazing to ponder how we came within a fraction of an inch of a serious head on crash. The insurance was only a coupla hundred dollars...enough to get the driver's door unjammed so it would open...and pay the gas for the crosscountry return trip. I ended up selling that car to a friend..and she drove it for another 50K miles before it gave up the ghost with over 250K original miles on it. Those old Mazdas had W-ankel rotary engines..so it prob just blew a seal . The thing was a champ to the end...but man she looked like hell.
