Cold and snow. Oh how I hate them. Heading to the Y for a swim and a relax in the steam room. Mm mm hot, steam. With eucalyptus. Almost like being inside a room sized vape. Almost

Take care all.

Smile. I know you are naked under your clothes! Pervert!

See, @liblue1 , there's two of us sending you snow. Any more votes?

Well, looks like I just won one of those Koopor Plus TC mods over on the CRAZY thread, so now I better go buy some 18650s to put in it, and go talk to GMO about special juice for it (whenever it might show up). :) First, I think I better go lie down... this pounding feeling in my chest might mean something other than joy. Jeez, before you know it, I might catch up to Shawn.... :)
 Congrats!

@CountBoredom - I've been meanin' to mention that I'm diggin' this week's tree theme. ;)

Have a wonderful evenin', everyone!

We don't have any YET but the locals say it IS coming...the west coast can certainly have ours. Heck west coast, the south....anywhere but here lol

congrats on the win fuzzy...seems the treefam is on a roll again!!

Somehow, even back in my smokin' daze, I seriously doubt that I'd get this excited about winning a carton of cigarettes. :) I'm OK, though.

The battery count is going up here... Lannie just told me the things she's [supposedly] won also use 18650s and this Koopor requires two of them (order four so ya has backups), then I better get backups for the backups... and our charger only handles two at a time... dang, I AM turning into Shawn. I think I need some extra arms/hands so I can play with all these shiny things at the same time.

12/2 - 2: I am pretty sure we will have a blizzard or two this year, and be homebound for days/weeks; with the amount of moisture we have had. We stomped the rainfall records this year by March, and just kept going. It was a good thing after five years of drought and lakes drying up completely.

Sorry I'm not very talkative lately. Depression always seems to start around this time for me. I know Christmas is coming, it's just very hard for me to get into Christmas with no family around other than my kids. I really feel like it's just us on a deserted island. And yes I'm very grateful that I have my kids and grandson it's just very lonely because the commercials, the talks all seem centered around it being a family time. I'm still reading along though.

12/2 - 3: I totally feel you, except I do not even have my kids. I was trying to think of more to say, but can't seem to do it.

I'm sorry. That really is rough. I'm sorry to be so insensitive. :(
:tumble:
Your not being insensitive, you are being honest; which is what I am. I try to tell people to enjoy their kids and family as much as they can now. Hold your head up high, I was not trying to be bad. ;)

@LynnNC and @tiggerrts big hugs. I know my issues always get worse around this time as well. Lack of Sun has a lot to do with it. Since 1998 me and my kids have lived in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. My whole huge family is on southern Nebraska and I was lucky to make it home once a year in the summer. Now I only have my youngest at home and the rest have other family to go do stuff with so they are not available either. So I am right there on that isolated island too. Let's all keep our heads up and hold each other up through this hard time

Smile. Because some people can't and need you to do it for them

Thanks everyone.
@tiggerrts I really do feel bad for posting about my problems when others have it worse than I do. So sorry! :(
I was on Facebook earlier and followed a link to a picture. This was my brother at his last Christmas here on this earth. Boy do I wish he was back. He was only 62 in this picture. He passed away the following May.

Don't apologize, @LynnNC. We all have our ups and downs--and while our downs may seem trivial to those of others, they are still, nonetheless, important to you, yourself, and thus perfectly reasonable to share. Those of us who have been in or are in similar positions can empathize, whether or not your situation is better or worse, while those of us who do not face such a situation, can at least offer our sympathies and offer a willing ear. That's part of what makes this group special. Also, please realize that "likes" for bad things or sad situations, are a measure of support, as well. BTW, is that you in the picture as well?

I'm afraid I must sign off for dinner now. Good night, Treefam!

I don't mean to sound insensitive, but maybe you should watch a DVD instead of commercial TV. I hate the commercials at Christmas time, so if commercial television is blaring in the background (it is usually on all the time here for background noise), I do my best to ignore it. I haven't celebrated Christmas since my daughter left (with her mother) in 1979. While we still do not celebrate it, we do have family to appreciate and they make it obvious that they appreciate us - granted, they have four legs, but they are still family and very dependent on us. WE LOVE THEM as if they were humans (we DO consider them as "people" because they do have personalities). And, of course, there is always "family" here on the Vape Tree thread to talk to. They listen. They commiserate well. And if all that doesn't work, you have our phone number. We have ears and I have big shoulders and you are welcome to lean on us any time you need to. Hogs & Quiches, honey.
