Woke up in the middle of the night - couldn't get back to sleep - got up, had a snack - finally got back to sleep and woke up a couple more times. Then the alarm went off and I kept hitting the snooze and sleeping more. Managed to finally get up and make it to work - a bit later than normal but still on time.

Good morning treefam. Looks like my morning has fit right in with the theme of the day. Tired, not enough sleep, got up too late, and almost late to work. First cup of coffee is down the hatch, now just waiting for it to get busy in here to keep me awake. Have a great day everyone.

@Mandikay I didn't sleep very well but at least yes, the headache is gone so far. I'm hoping it doesn't come back either. Fortunately I don't get them very often.

Like many others I was up for over an hour in the middle of the night but was able to get back to sleep.
Did the sandman come around collecting last night?

He must have @westhc because I was up in the middle of the night too... Eating and vaping lol... My fiance woke up and just laughed and went back to sleep!
I'm paying for it today though .im exhausted!!

@westhc I kinda wonder myself if the sandman was collecting or just forgot to show up. I wanted to sleep, but it wasn't happening. So it goes, I will drag through my day fueled by coffee and try to survive it

Good morning, everyone. We have an interesting spider near the door of our house... brown, with a white/gray band on the dorsal side of its abdomen. The best the kids and I can tell, it is a male false widow spider. Hmm...

Already did 5 posts today...just wanted to brag. My daughter won the highly-coveted Dancer of the Year award at her final dance recital tonight (13 years of hard work)! In addition, they want her to work part-time as a paid teacher while she's going to college next year.

Congratulations to your daughter! I think that's brag-worthy...!

It's not too bad when you can get back to sleep within an hour. A few weeks ago I woke up at 1 am and was still awake at 5 am. I emailed work and said I wouldn't be in until 11 or 12. Luckily I can do that.

The full compost bins will be picked up today. If it is clear after work I'll start filling them up again.
The fog and wind rolled in yesterday at 6 pm.
