Happy Moon Day Robin (and everyone else)! Gonna be nice again today, so it's off to do more mowing. Oh, and for a few days now, one of our LGDs (Livestock Guardian Dawgs) has been barking at absolutely everything - things she (Kiara - female Pyr) doesn't normally bark at. It made me wonder what was wrong with her. Then the light bulb came on! This started the day those baby kittens were born in the horse barn, so she is obviously being over-protective of the new babies. Sigh...

Looks like today will be my last day to enjoy Windows 7... got the notification that Windows 10 is scheduled to install tonight. I could re-schedule, but I figure I'll eventually be upgrading by July 29 anyway (the last day of the free upgrade), so I'm quietly resigned. But, if I'm not on-line tomorrow, you'll know why...

@liblue1 some days just suck, but remember, there is never more than 24 hours in a day, so tomorrow will be here soon enough.

@CountBoredom I second what GMO said. I have seen a lot of people lose some important stuff with this update.

Woo, 30 mins left in my regular work day. Then my on call shift starts. So i might have to go out who knows where whenever the beeper rings. Hope you are all having fun.

I run a weekly backup of documents and other files to my network, so I should be covered, but I was thinking of running a standalone snapshot this afternoon just in case...

Count after using it for awhile now...it's not so bad.......not much tweaking was needed....but mine wasn't upgraded....it was new....so I will wish you luck........
With that I am off for now.....going to get some stuff done....and maybe workout......

2. What a busy day for the boss not even coming in! ...and have to head to Wally World when I leave here in a little while...I managed to skip it last week, but can't put it off any longer.

@liblue1 - sending some good vibes for you...hope your day gets better.

@CountBoredom - We upgraded my old Windows 7 computer this weekend...decided to go ahead and do it before I hand it off to my son. Also went ahead and upgraded my new one that was Win 8.1 to Win 10. Both installs went off okay...just do like everyone said and backup, backup, backup! I haven't had any problems with Win 10 so far...have been using it on my new tablet for over a month now and, knock on wood, no issues so far. Good luck with the upgrade.

5/16 - 2: Howdy all, well you said nothing about him would surprise you Ranger, even I thought he could not get worse. How about when I was gone, good thing I called in those two days; he would tell people Thursday, Friday and even Today to meet him. Be there at 7:30 then makes them wait until 9. Good boys are still charging him for that time. This morning he tells one to meet him at a business at 6:30 both employees are there waiting for him, and he turns around and tells the customer his employees were late; while he is the one who slept in.

He has decided to finally think about sick time benefits, that work like this, you get two; and after using the second go get a Dr. note. In other words, if you used one on a day in May and finally was sick in October and missed one day, he would want a Dr.'s note; because you used both. Yeah talk about un-happy workers, he made his entire company mad within 30 minutes of the day starting. Coup de grace, tells a kid just coming out of college he is going to hire him, did a couple of interviews, Yes I am going to hire you. Kid gives two weeks notice to his job, buys his tools to get ready to work today, Oh I hired someone else instead. Pretty much rant over, though not ranting, just writing it out. ^^^ but that last one wow!

@philbh I am not sure where you can buy them, started off as frustration with a couple, posted a picture on facebook and went viral, From one sign to selling 20,000 already; a search probably will find it.

Will try to work on something more positive to write tonight.

Spent a good part of the day trying to get some things straightened out - some progress made - one should have been completed last week but a HQ weenie screwed up bad and now I have to wait at least another week for the money they owe me. Have to wait til tomorrow to see if other things went thru.
On a good note - I got the package of things that had been sent to my sister - Can you say massive vapemail. Still going thru the box for the initial viewing.

I just finished my week of being on call. I work for an alarm company and usually the calls come in at 2 or 3 a.m. at least I don't have to go anywhere usually but it definitely makes it hard getting up for work the next day.

Just stopping by for a quickie vape. Mowed and mowed again, then emptied/cleaned/refilled the horse trough and collected eggs. Gotta suck my binkie for a few minutes, then back out to feed all the critters. Later...
