I just finished my week of being on call. I work for an alarm company and usually the calls come in at 2 or 3 a.m. at least I don't have to go anywhere usually but it definitely makes it hard getting up for work the next day.

We use johns brothers for our alarms. Im a maintenance tech for a property management company.when im on call any or all of 3 complexes in my AOR are my problem. I drove 30 mins from one call to the next last night and was gone for almost 3 hrs.

Spent a good part of the day trying to get some things straightened out - some progress made - one should have been completed last week but a HQ weenie screwed up bad and now I have to wait at least another week for the money they owe me. Have to wait til tomorrow to see if other things went thru.
On a good note - I got the package of things that had been sent to my sister - Can you say massive vapemail. Still going thru the box for the initial viewing.

Love vapemail. I got about 5 pounds of stainless steel and copper a couple weeks back from a clearance sale from China. Got some really good items for almost free (before shipping added 50% to the bill). I'm still just admiring about half of it. Lemo Drop - $4. Tobeco Kayfun 4 - $4. Hcigar copper Prime - $4. Ehpro Omega - $4. Ehpro Tobh - $4. Ehpro Kayfun Lite Plus v2 (rose gold) - $4. I splurged for a $13 Hcigar copper Akuma. Plus some wire and Kanger coils... I'm in sensory overload...

I had to go out last Sunday (5-8). Drove 1 hour each way, 30 minute service call. Had to charge about $500. Government contract, so I don't feel too bad about it...

5/16 - 5: Hmmmmmm someone was here and then disappeared. {WW} the dark place must have swallowed her after W on this M. Storms are supposed to be dying off, the sun is going down; apparently there were three at the state border today, while we worked; that time of the year.

That's quite a "good" note! I should have two packages arriving sometime between now and the end of forever. I only have tracking for one, but the one without tracking was presumably shipped out earlier, so I guess we'll see.

Got done with awards program...daughter got some nice honors and awards. Ended up having enough time to clean and build my new Tobeco Kayfun Mini 3 that came in today.

GOOD night treefam, it's nice to see how other folks live their lives(through postings on here) it makes me feel less alone or different if you will. Sometimes I feel like I am an anomaly,then I read your post and I feel like I'm home.

5/16 - 2: Howdy all, well you said nothing about him would surprise you Ranger, even I thought he could not get worse. How about when I was gone, good thing I called in those two days; he would tell people Thursday, Friday and even Today to meet him. Be there at 7:30 then makes them wait until 9. Good boys are still charging him for that time. This morning he tells one to meet him at a business at 6:30 both employees are there waiting for him, and he turns around and tells the customer his employees were late; while he is the one who slept in.

He has decided to finally think about sick time benefits, that work like this, you get two; and after using the second go get a Dr. note. In other words, if you used one on a day in May and finally was sick in October and missed one day, he would want a Dr.'s note; because you used both. Yeah talk about un-happy workers, he made his entire company mad within 30 minutes of the day starting. Coup de grace, tells a kid just coming out of college he is going to hire him, did a couple of interviews, Yes I am going to hire you. Kid gives two weeks notice to his job, buys his tools to get ready to work today, Oh I hired someone else instead. Pretty much rant over, though not ranting, just writing it out. ^^^ but that last one wow!

@philbh I am not sure where you can buy them, started off as frustration with a couple, posted a picture on facebook and went viral, From one sign to selling 20,000 already; a search probably will find it.

Will try to work on something more positive to write tonight.
