Bad day.. They laid off 5 more people this morning.. I was getting super nervous so I went to my boss and asked her.. All she could say is my job is safe for now.. But if I feel like its not again come back and talk to her.. I'm wondering how long it's safe for they told someone else that 2 Friday's ago and today they got laid off. So I guess I'm safe till the next manager meeting Friday :/
Then I realized I have my 12 year old daughters phone in my purse because I punished her yesterday and forgot it was in there. I heard a text go off and I checked it.. A grown man at least in his 50's sending selfies to my daughter. I'm freaking out! I can't wait to get home and figure out what is going on with this. I am a nervous wreck. I almost left work but the kids are still at school so it wouldn't do any good.

Only managed to post once yesterday due to additional injuries. Left shoulder was feeling better yesterday, so I took the sling off that arm. I knew it wasn't totally "healed," so I used caution. Thunderstorm in progress at chore time yesterday afternoon, so I put on a raincoat and still managed to get totally soaked. Came back in the house and the zipper on that soggy coat stuck, so I pulled rather hard and ripped my shoulder again. From a simple darn zipper? Yup. Now it is worse than the previous injury, so Wifey has declared that I can't take the sling off for a whole month. Looks like we won't get to have much of a garden this year because she can't shovel the compost, run the tiller, etc., and, at the moment, neither can I. Remember, we only have a three-month growing season here, so if it don't happen right now, it won't happen. Sigh...

Sorry to hear about your shoulder fuzzy. I hope all the rest of the treefam is better. I just got done mowing and I came in to eat some kielbasa sausage that my wife prepared. I have another day off then back to work. My girls are very happy to have me home.

I found them....but the coupon code didn't work....I have them clear in my cart as they are out of colors(no problem as clear is fine) but after searching all afternoon yesterday I can't find a code..so I will hang on till you reply or maybe this week they will have a new one....

Just about time to leave work for the day. I'm tired and hungry. And it was a slow day. So not sure what that's about.

I slept in today too. Wifey had me up last nite and very early this morning so when I went back to bed I didn't get up till almost noon, I never do that.
I got the grass cut and baby back ribs on the grill. Can't wait for supper.

5/23 - 3: I made it and thanks everyone, time to do the early thing. Starting tomorrow 2 and a half hours early, the same fight I am sure will ensue "I want you starting at 8" "No." the boys were nice, they knew at let me take many breaks with no problem, thinking shorts here on out as well.
He has the whole company show up at the office, first time enforcing a rule. Handling papers and pens, then at the end "Oh I have this , whatever he called it, sickness; going to be laid up for two weeks no work, or tools." You have your entire company show up so you could get everyone sick?
Mandi, wow, just wow; try to be calm, easy for me to say I know I wouldn't be.
Fuzzy hope it gets better soon.

Edit: Blue it is the last one I am curious about, the underwater city; you and Fuzzy seem to have a lot of knowledge around this area.

So as soon as my daughter walked in the door we had a serious talk. Apparently she posted her number (not smart, really thought she knew better) on instagram and this man got her number. He has tried texting her before but she never replied, she showed me the messages that he had sent before from a different number. I explained to her she should have come to me but she said she was scared I'd never let her on the internet again. I explained to her it's not her fault BUT she wasn't being very safe doing that and we obviously need to have a long talk about internet safety. I called the police out and they have taken a report. Next step call Verizon and have these 2 numbers blocked. Oh what a day!

Glad to hear you got it sorted the peaceful way. Good call on getting the police involved...a visit/call from the cops could potentially head off a lot of trouble for you as well as others.
